Damn I was nervous about this date.

What if she says no?

Or what if she's not really ready to be in this relationship with me full time. My hands were sweating and my legs were shaking. I was stuttering everytime I talked to her.

I'm on edge.

"Shawn." She said again and I took another deep breath. "Maya." I started and continued caressing her hand.

"I love you so much. Every kiss I give you feels like the first, full of love and passion. You never gave up on us and I am so great full for that. You complete me Maya and God, I can't even describe how much I love you." I said and she smiled over at me.

"I love you so much Mendes." She said and I chuckled, kissing her hand. I stood up and walked over to her and helped her up from her seat.

"What are you doing?" She asked and I pulled the little box out of my pocket.

"I want to spend the rest of my life with you Maya. I want you by my side 24/7 and never let you go. I want to be able to call you mine forever and to kiss you everyday and night. That's why I asked you uncle for his blessing. And he said yes... so." I said and knelt down on one knee infront of her.

She gasped, clamping her hand over her mouth and I felt all eyes on us from the people areound us at the restaurant.

"Maya, my love. Will you please do me the most incredible honor and marry me?" I asked and she smiled down at me with tears pooling in her eyes.

I took her hand and slipped the ring on her finger and stood up. "Yes." She whispered and crashed her lips to mine.

There was a crowd of applause from the people around us.

"I love you so much Shawn. Thank you for deciding to spend the rest of your life with someone like me." She said and I cupped het cheeks. "You're the only one for me Maya. I love you so so much." I said and peck her lips once more before sitting back down and eating our food.

I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her.

We're already living together but now... we're going to líve together.

Forever.

Together.
