Powers

Chaper 1

I woke up freezing cold. I had two comforters and a quilt on top of me. I was never warm only cold. It was hard to believe I was still cold. I turned my lamp on and looked over at my sister. She was in short shorts and a tank top with no blanket. And somehow she was still sweating.

We were total opposites . She loves meat, I'm a vegetarian. I love fall and winter, she loves spring and summer. One thing we did have in common was that we both were born with powers. Mine being ice and snow, her's fire and heat. Also our hair matched our powers. Mine being white and her's being a bright red. Somehow we were so different

I then got up and walked over to her bed and barely touched her. She then almost jumped up. Elyssa then sighed.

"Thank god it's only you". I then replied

Who did you think it was". she looked at me in the eyes for a second and looked away.

"No one". I knew she wasn't going to budge so I let it go.

I walked over to my dresser and pulled out grey skinny jeans, a black long sleeve shirt, and a grey hoodie . I threw them on and looked at the clock by my bed. It was only 6:35 . I laid down on my bed and signed.

Our bus came at 7:08. I had thirty minutes and nothing to do.

Just then my brother came in.

"Hurry up snowflake mom made oatmeal. I gave him a dirty look.

"Stop calling me snowflake I don't like that nickname, what if I call you dumb ass would you like that"?

"Just get your ass downstairs".

"Okay dumb ass just give me a minute". I then got ready.

After I was done with that I headed downstairs. When I got downstairs i found my brother and sister eating in silence. typical. I was then tapped on the shoulder. It was my mom and she was holding a bowl of oatmeal. I took it and gave her a smile.i went to take a bite and burned my tongue.

"Blow on it idiot". I then blew on it freezing the oatmeal to the spoon.

"You know what ill pass on breakfast". My sister then agreed. "Yeah i'm not that hungry either". I then took my phone out and checked the time. It was already 6:50.

"We should get walking", It takes us 10 minutes to walk up to the end of the road. Our house had a really long driveway so every day we leave 10 minutes early each day so we would'nt miss the bus.

We grabbed our bags and left down the road. We lived kind of far back so in case me or my sister got mad we would'nt show anyone our powers by mistake. My sister then started to talk.

"I'm sorry about earlier i haven't had a lot of sleep lately". I then replied. "Yeah about that why have you been so skittish lately". she then took a deep breath. "its a long story. I think i found a hunter.

Not much but its all i have for right now because i'm currently writing a second chapter for my high school with botdf so I'm really busy right now. And since i have school now i don't have a lot of free time.
