That day, she met Brooke and Claire at Brooke's in the afternoon house.
They spent some time talking and just watching some of episodes of Big Bang Theory. Suddenly there was a notification in Brooke's phone.
Brooke : Ahhhhh!!! Guys! Sam uploaded a new video on his channel.
Claire : What ?? The guys didn't say they were working on something. I thought they stopped.
Brooke : Well! The guys are back again.
Haley was dumbfounded.
Haley : Guys? Will someone explain to me what's happening? What channel? What video? What does Sam upload videos of ?????
Brooke : Oh right. We never told you. The guys kind of have a band. Sam is like the lead singer. And the guys sometimes sing too. Nathan is on drums and Luke plays the guitar. Sam plays the guitar too.
Haley stared at her for two minutes straight.
Brooke : Hales ?
Haley : NONE OF YOU TOLD ME IN THE PAST ONE YEAR ???? You fucking kidding me ? They sing ? They have a band ? Sam sings ????
Brooke : yeahhh.. sorry about that. Honestly, they stopped after getting in high school I guess. And so we also kind of forgot about it.
Haley : Goodness! Sam sings ? Huhh.

Claire : Of course you do.
Claire gave her a smirk.
They watched the video. They filmed it in Nathan's house. It was a cover of "All of the stars" by Ed sheeran.
Haley : Omg. They are GOOD.
Brooke : Yep. Pretty much. They stopped but I guess they are back.
Haley : I am glad.
Claire : You really like music don't you ?
Haley : Honey, music is life. Trust me.
Claire : I guess that's just a plus point for Sam. Among the many others, right Hales ?
Haley : Stopp...
Brooke : Seriously Hales, when are you guys gonna stop acting like weird friends who like each other and stay with each other all day but are cowards who can't get their feelings out ?
Haley : What ? It's nothing like that.
Brooke : It is just like that and you know it.
Haley : Maybe he doesn't feel the same way. You never know.
Brooke : He does. Trust me. I know.
Haley went quiet.
Claire : Okay! Enough of the deep conversations . Let's get back to Big Bang Theory.
After coming home, Haley went to the Sam's youtube channel and subscribed. She went through all the videos of his.
Nathan, Luke and him. They were so young. They probably started from eighth grade. The videos kept getting better one after another.

She stayed up late and watched it all.She loved the videos. She couldn't wait to see him sing in front of her.
She even sent Sam a text with the link of Baby attached to it.
Haley: You guys were pretty good from the beginning
Sam : Oh gosh nooo! How did you see that. It's embarrassing af 🙄
Haley : 😂 No it's not. You guys were so cute. Awww! Look at those baby faces!
Sam : Please stop! I looked like an idiot at that time.
Haley: The recent one is really good. It's one of my favourite songs of all time"

Haley : Can't believe you didn't tell me about your band 🙄
Sam : Ugh yeah! Sorry. We stopped after high school and thought that we wouldn't start again. And few days back, I just had that vibe that I wanna sing again.
Haley : I am glad you decided that.
Sam : Shouldn't you be asleep by now ?
Haley: Yeah. I stayed up watching your videos.
Sam: Wow. That is pretty amazing. It's two am.
Haley : Well, yeah....
Sam: Okay. Goodnight. I'll see you.
Haley: Goodnight Sam. See you too.
She did have a good night. That night, she had one of the best sleeps ever.
