We all stood at the window glancing around the yard when Molly spotted eyes in the tree line, I saw them too, bright yellow piercing eyes. They seem to leer right at us, larking in the woods like it can't leave. That's when the power went out.

Kat screamed as the power went out and eyes faded away. We used our phones for light as we frantically searched for flashlights and candles. I knew there was at least two candles in the bathroom and a flashlight in every bedroom, Molly and Kat got the flash lights, which was only 3, and I got the candles out of the bathroom, I also found matches in the bathroom cabinet. We met in the living room, Kat was crying again.

"Kat it's okay, we'll be okay I promise" I hug her tight, she cries on my shoulder.

Molly lights the candles and we turned off the flash lights to save the batteries. There was a foul and eerie feeling in the air. We don't know why the power went out it wasn't storming, not even raining.

The sun finally started coming up over the lake, shimming like fiery gold. Molly got up once the sun was fully up, she walked to the door and hesitantly opens it. It was finally sunday.

"Jack, Kat, please come with me" she looks scared.

"Sure, but where are we going?" I asked

"To see where and how the Coyote body went. I need to know."

I didn't say anything afterwards, Kat and I just followed her down to the beach.

Once we got there we found paw prints, they look like a mountain lion, I guess it could be because the Canyon is over the lake but the the was no dragging marks, the body must have been carried.

"It was carried!" I shouted "look, there's no dragging marks, so it couldn't have been dragged anywhere."

Molly was quiet, she the surveyed the ground and followed the tracks, it lead to the woods. None of us dared to go in, it's right where we saw the yellow eyes not only that but if that lion is still here it could kill us. So we walked back to the house and had some lunch. I didn't eat, I was to nervous, to anxious to eat.

All day we hear shrieks and cackles over by the woods, we played cards waiting for the power to come back on, but it never did. We almost forgotten about what happened and with my lack of sleep, I passed out, Kat did too, l don't know if Molly did or not.

I remember having this hellish nightmare, It starts out in the lake with the Coyote on the beach, out of the woods came bright yellow eyes, and a big black mass. it was morphing, changing, from a beast on all fours to a big man on two. As it comes in to the light of the moon its' on two legs like a man. It had the hind legs of a lion, a tail of a wolf, the torso of a bear, and the head coyote. The eyes were still bright yellow, glowing. Its' snout is longer then the average coyote, it's teeth reminded me of a cougar, long and sharp. On the top of its head was horns like a ram. It made this demonic noise, Its' claws like daggers lashes at me, swing trying to scratch my arms, legs, anything to hurt me. I had a strong feeling to ran.  Its claws barley grazed my four-arm it burned like hell, as I tried to get away.  Its' laugh was like a coyote cackle, it was laughing at my pain. I came at me again and again, laughing more and more each time.

I woke up to a loud howl, my arm was still burning. Kat and Molly where gazing out the window as the beast in my dream was standing ten feet from our door. The eyes where piercingly cold, and I sat up in a cold sweat. The smell of death was overwhelming Molly throw up, and I was gagging. Kat stunned with fear, couldn't move.
It was scratching at the door, and pacing the window like a bull, or an agitated animal. Then it charged the door, with a loud bang, and the scratching of metal gave me the worst feeling in the world.
