Unexpected Neighbour

New Home

I walked inside the apartment and sighed.This place needed alot of work.I really didn't want to move but after what happened,the pain in my old community was too much to bear.I really missed her.She was the person I could ask for encouragement and guidance.Why did she have to go away from me.I brushed the few tears falling from my eyes.
"Honey come and help with the boxes!"dad shouted from outside.
"Am coming!"I shout loud enough to wake up the entire neighbourhood.
I walked outside to help.
"Sweedie are you okay?"mom asked.
"yeah sure am fine."I lied.
After couple more hours  we were almost finish packing.We ate dinner and I went to bathroom.

Okay so am Courley Sawyers.Am sixteen years old,well fifteen since my birthday is next month.sigh.all my friends were already 16.I live with my mom,dad,older brother Cody and my younger sister Courtney.My brother is 20 and my younger sister (Courtney) is 13.I  had an older sister which was 18 but she died four months ago in a car accident with her boyfriend.Apparently she was drunk,which was a bit weird because my sister didn't even drink Smirnoff ice,which couldn't even drunk a baby lol so I wouldn't imagine her drinking something way stronger than that.Her boyfriend didn't die,however he was crippled.I felt sorry for him because he was totally good at football and was going to world Cup the previous month after the accident.His parents were really upset but it was so strange that they didn't even attend my sister's funeral.

I got out of the bathroom and reached for my cellphone to dial my best friend Sackshi's phone number.
"Hey girl"she said over the phone.
"Hey boo,I miss you!"I said exciting as I played with the edge of my sheet.
"I miss you too girl "she said.
"I miss Coverly"I said.
That was the name of my sister who died.
"Honey am so sorry,just lighten up ok "she said.
"I guess so."I replied.
"So how the new place ?"she asked
"It's fine,very big tho,I must say I like it so far"I said smiling.
"Well I'll have to see for my self and that's why I've decided to spend the entire summer with you !"she said excitedly.
"Yeah oh my God thank you Sackshi you're the best!"I shouted.
"I know."she said
I can just imagine the large smile on her face right now.
"Thank you for always being here."I said softly.
"What are best friends for."she said.
"Goodnight hunny."I said.
"Good night boo,find a cute guy."she said.
"I hope so."I said as I ended the phone call.

Ever since my sister died I wasn't interested in boys or parties anymore.I just wanted to focus on my studies and continue doing good at swimming.I hope that was possible here.I wasn't going to school until the next week because it was already Thursday it didn't make sense I go tommorrow which will be Friday.
I turned the light off and went to bed.
