Chapter 7: Just brotherly love part 3

So this is the last part of 'Just brotherly love'.

Basically，Sonic and Knuckles kind of teach the people that hurt Tails a lesson.

After about a week after Tails had woken up from his coma from the beating he got，Tails was finally released from the hospital.

Sonic and Knuckles were relieved. They were glad that Tails was okay. But after that horrible day，they always made sure that at least one of them was with Tails at all times.

As Sonic，Tails and Knuckles walked through the town from the hospital to get back to their apartment...the same people that beat up Tails were there too.

Tails noticed this but instead of getting upset，he tugged on the sleeve of Sonic’s top，making Sonic look at Tails.

“What's up buddy?” asked Sonic，looking concerned.

Tails leaned against Sonic’s ear and whispered

“Those people are the ones who beat me up.”

Sonic took a causal look around and saw the dirty looks of some of the local people.

Sonic felt anger build up inside of him as he cluched his fingers into a fist.

‘So these are the jerks that dared lay a finger on Tails’ thought Sonic in a venomous tone.

But Sonic couldn't confront these people just like that. He needed to expose them publicly. Then someone who would support Sonic would be able to back them up.

So Sonic bent down to Tails' ear and whispered his plan to do this.

Tails looked scared for a second but then he nods his head and says “Okay Sonic. I trust you.”

Sonic smiles at Tails and runs his fingers through Tails' hair as he says

“Don’t worry. I won’t let them hurt you.”

Tails smiles at this. “Thanks Sonic.”

Sonic gives Tails a brofist before nodding towards one random food store.

Tails nods in agreement. That was the place that would be used in their plan.

Then Sonic gently pushed Knuckles towards the food store.

Knuckles at first protested but was silenced when he heard Sonic say “I’ll explain in a minute”

When they reached the food store，Sonic turned to Tails and said in a surprisingly convincing voice “Wait here a minute Tails.”

Tails nodded as Sonic and Knuckles walked into the food store.

And so their plan was put into action.

While Sonic explained the plan to Knuckles in the store and Tails waited outside...as planned，the local people came up to Tails...

The people once again came up to Tails with their disgusted looks.

“You just don’t know when to leave，do you?” said a 25-year-old man in a smug tone.

Tails held his ground，poor thing as he said “Well...I'm not doing anything wrong...so I don't see why I need to leave...”

But the people weren't having it.

“Yeah，you did something wrong ya Freak. You existed!” said a 30-year-old woman in a tone that could slice through anyone's heart.
