Sam
"Wait, you unlock the door," Matt said, stepping back from our apartment door and handing me the keys.
I looked at him weirdly. "Don't be sketchy with me, sir," I laughed, unlocking the door and opening it.
"SURPRISE!" Andrew, Norman, Michael, and Jeffrey all called out as I turned the light on.
"Ah! Jesus!" I yelled and jumped, calming down after a few seconds.
"Happy birthday, Sam!" Norman laughed as he walked out from behind the coach, same for Michael and Andrew. Jeffery was hiding under the table.
"Thank you, handsome," I joked and winked, laughing as I walked to the kitchen and setting down my bag.
"Hey! Hey, you have some presents to open and some cake to eat!" Norman yelled as he chased after me, picking me up from behind and bringing me back into the living room.
I rolled my eyes as he set me down. I sat on the couch, smiling. "Thank you guys, though, really." I smiled.
"Of course, Sam!" Matt said as he sat next to me. "Andy, go get Sam's cake."
"I feel so special," I smiled happily as Andrew got up and went into the kitchen.
"You're practically our sister, dude," Matt said. "You're pretty damn special." He looked up at Andrew and told him to turn down the lights. "Have you ever been to a birthday party? You're supposed to light the damn candles!" He laughed.
"I'm on it!" Andrew exclaimed and chuckled. "All I care about is the eating part, honestly," I laughed and leaned back.
"Well, I worked my ass off on baking and decorating this cake and the house and planning this party so you're gonna enjoy it," Matt said, grinning.
"I'm already enjoying it," I chuckled. "But eating this cake is going to be so much more enjoyable, cause ya know, it's cake, is all I'm saying." I smiled.
"Okay, okay. Andrew, where is this damn cake?" Matt called.
"One step ahead of ya!" Andrew said as he walked in with the cake, pretending to trip and almost dropping it, saving it right as he did, grinning.
"I swear to god, Andrew, you're gonna give me a heart attack," Matt said, breathing out breath he was holding. "Give her the damn cake," he laughed.
"Oh, come on, I wouldn't do that," Andrew smiled and set the cake on the table, lighting the candles. "Enjoy," He smiled.
"Knowing you, you probably would," Matt murmured.
"Wait, do I get to eat all of it?" I asked, pointing at it.
"If you want to," Matt grinned.
"I'd like to see her eat all of that," Norman laughed.
"Then you sure as hell will, handsome." I laughed, turning to him.
Norman winked and crossed his legs, beginning to play on his phone.
I chuckled and blew out the candles, taking them out.
"Here, I'll give you a few presents," Matt said and stood up, handing me a few presents.
"I thought the cake was my present," I said confusingly, taking the presents.
