Selenas POV:
Me and Justin spent our entire day together today, Scooter and Kenny were taking care of my missing ring and gave me and Justin the day to ourselves since he was already leaving soon for his movie.
We were driving to an outlook that looked over Santa Monica, we grabbed some subway and we were driving my car so we could lay a blanket in my trunk, pop the back and lay down together.
“You know everything’s going to be okay.” Justin whispered as we parked in a spot and over looked the city lights.
“Yeah, I know… but that doesn’t make it any easier.” I whispered back.
We got out of the car and walked around to the back laying down our blankets and Justin pulled out his iHome plugging in his iPod playing music quietly in the background as we sat criss cross on the blanket eating our subway just looking at the view.
“California’s a really beautiful place, too bad you can hardly ever see the stars. Nothing like back home, in my backyard me and my mom would try to count stars sometimes at night just for fun.” I admitted looking up at the cloudy sky.
“I know, that’s one of my favorite things about going home to Canada is being able to see the stars again.” Justin said, but I didn’t look over at him, even though I knew he was staring at me.
We made small talk about home and how we both were ready for a vacation to see our families again. When we were done eating we made our selves comfortable looking over the view. To the right was the ocean and you could see some ships in the distant, and on the other side was California all light up.
“You’re going to do great, you do know that right?” I asked looking up at Justin.
“Yeah, we’ll see. I’m going to be thinking about you every day. Especially with all the romantic scenes, it’s going to be different.” He said breaking my gaze.
“It’ll be fun, I promise. Growing in your career is one of the most frustrating but greatest things ever.” I smiled remembering how good I felt after I finished shooting Wizards, then spring breakers, then the runaway.
Justins POV:
I had Selena in my arms for what would be the last time in possibly 2 months. I never get tongue tied, but it seemed like I couldn’t form the right words. So I just tightened my grip around her.
“I love you Justin.” She whispered, like she could read my mind.
“I love you too Selena. Forever with you will never be long enough.” I said kissing the top of her forehead.
We sat there holding each other for an hour, once in a while making small talk. But besides that we were just enjoying each other’s presence until my phone started vibrating in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw it was a text from Scooter, I opened it up to see Selena’s engagement ring in the palm of Scooters hand next to his and Kenny’s face. Both of them had huge smiles and underneath it said
Look what we got!?
I showed the text to Selena and she let out a big sigh “Thank god.”
I locked my phone and laid Selena down on her back as I hovered over her body her face inches from mine. I brushed my hand across her cheek and stared deep into her eyes. I pressed my lips against hers softly and she brought her hand to the back of my head. Our tongues fought for dominance in each other’s mouths, but it wasn’t anything to hardcore. It was soft, and passionate.
After a few minutes I laid down next to her and she moved her head onto my chest. Wrapping her arm around me squeezing my torso.
“I never want this moment to end. Can’t we freeze time.” She said.
