Carrington Hill

To say I was embarrassed after what happened was a pretty nice and easy way to put how I felt. I genuinely did not think my period was going to surprise me like a bitch just when I cuddle with Harry with white sheets and everything. Hell, I even got him messy and his bed was just an absolute state. I felt disgusting even though it was a natural thing and if it would have happened in my own bed while I was sleeping alone I wouldn't have been that fussed.

But it literally happened while I was snuggling to the boy who I like and known for less than a week. There are not many things that are worse than that.

Harry, well, he was absolutely amazing. Like he said he handled the situation and by the time I was done with the shower the bed was remade and I had clothes in the bathroom waiting for me with the pack of Always pads that I bought with myself. Whenever I'm on holiday or go somewhere I chuck a pack in my luggage just in case.

"Can we not mention this? At all? To anyone?" I asked Harry as I stood next to the newly made bed where he sat.

"Of course," he nodded right away; his voice confidently stated the answer I hoped to get. "Come here."

"I'd rather not," a stiff laugh escaped my lips, Harry's eyebrows furrowed and he tilted his head to the side. "I don't want to cause anymore mess."

"Carrington, nothing will happen. Come here, please," he talked to me with a soft voice, his eyes showed nothing but kindness and he held his hand out for me to take.

I huffed as I gave in; he took a hold of my hand and pulled me on his lap. His right hand snuck around my waist, his left one rested on my thighs while my left hand was hugging his neck.

"Now listen," he started to talk slowly and quietly and that made my heart beat increase. "I don't want you to think I'm disgusted or anything like that because that is not true. What happened has happened and you couldn't have prevented it from happening, nothing and no one could have. It was totally natural, yeah? I told you I would sort everything out and I did so honestly, don't overthink it, please."

"I just can't believe it happened," I leaned my head against his a little, his arms hugged me tightly and he intertwined his fingers on my side. "If it would've happened to me while I was on my own I wouldn't be so bothered."

"Did you listen to me, sunshine?" his voice was gentle and he didn't judge me nor sounded disgusted. So why the hell did I keep thinking he was? "I'm glad I was here to take care of you and help you, so please do not think for a second that what happened was bad, yeah? It happens to everyone at one point."

"I'll try not to," I sighed. "Thank you for, yanno, doing everything. I should have cleaned everything, not you."

"It was no trouble, really," he told me. I pulled away from him, his lips smiled at me and I kissed him on the cheek. "Why did I get that?"

"Because you are wonderful," I complimented him. His lips twitched as his smile grew bigger his green eyes bored into my brown ones and the top of his cheeks were slightly pink. "What time is it?"

"Um," he looked around the room to find a clock on the wall but for some reason there was none. He ended up stretching across the bed to grab his phone then pressed down on the middle button to see the time. "Half past three."

"Ugh, we slept for like, two and a half hours."

"It was good; we both needed it after being in the water and everything."

"True," I nodded. My mind was running wild with thoughts and I realised why I was so moody in the morning. I felt like sharing it with Harry so that's what I did. "You know when I was in a weird mood this morning?"
