A firefighter's baby~on Hold~

The beginning

Who would have thought a normal day could lead to my whole life changing. 

        “Hey, Aki are you going to your free period now?” Aki and his friend Nana had just left math class and are heading to their next class. ”No, I’m going to the library.” Aki then waved to Nana and left for the library. “What can I do for you Aki?” The librarian Mrs. Wan asked.” Nothing much, just here to check out some books.” “Well, okay then I’ll check ya in while you look for your books." 
As Aki was searching for a book the fire alarm went off scaring Aki.” Aki, dear we have to go.”  "Okay, I'm ready."  When they walked into the hall it was filled with smoke  and they were coughing  vigorously . They went down the hall and turned the corner towards the steps when the stairs gave out." Aki we have to turn around." They turned around to go to the opposite staircase when out of nowhere Mrs.Wan fell down."Go on ahead without me dear, I'll be just fine." There were tears in her eye, for she knew she wouldn't make it."No, I'm not leaving without you." Just as he said this they heard another voice, this one strong and musculer."Is there anyone there!" The man screamed out." WE'RE HERE!"  Aki screamed as loud as he could. Then there where booming foot steps being heard." Are you alright?" There was a look of concern on his face." Yes we're just fine but she needs help, she's weak." The man picked Mrs.Wan up and wrapped his arms around her and Aki's waists and carried them to the steps. About half way down the steps Aki could tell thee man was having a hard time carrying them both." Let me go I can walk." The man gave him a look of disbelief." No way, I can carry you both." "If you try that we may never make out of here alive, plus she's much older than me and needs your help more." He took a second to think about it." Your right, but stay right behind me got it?"
