Midnight Or Mid-Day [HOLD]

Chapter 3

It had been a few days sense I had seen the wolf. The whole family was outside and me and Heather where playing while Mom and Dad where talking.it was also almost midnight.

   Me and Heather where playing in the water like always and mother and father would watch us.but then in the waters reflection I saw something red. I looked up to see the wolf again but this time it's eyes where glowing red and it had a grin on its face. And also it was on one of the closer hills.

"Up there Heather! It's the wolf !" I shouted. Not only Heather looked, but my mother and father looked too. "Come pups. Let's go inside." Twilight told us.

As me and Heather lay in our nests Mother and Father watch from the cave opening.

Mom then said something to dad that I couldn't make out before leave threw the opening. Before any of us could respond something black jumped down onto her. It was the wolf. Dakota ran after them and started to fight while me and Heather watched quietly. Dakota bit down on the wolves leg, but it seemed to do nothing to stop it. No mater what he did it left no mark. We watched as the wolf threw her around and attacked her while Father desperately tried to stop it, but to no avail.

Then the wolf dropped Twilight, her white fur covered with blood. The wolf gave us all one last look before opening its wings and vanishing into a shadow. Then I heard a howl and saw it on the hill top before it left us.
