Over the next week everything was mostly uneventful. School was just as hard to bare and so was your modeling. During that week you barely saw Kise with the both of you suddenly getting a bunch of photo shoots. Some days he was absent from school for a shoot while on other days you were absent for a shoot. You both barely had time to speak which, in your opinion, made things a little easier.
You couldn't face him the same as you did before anyway. You remembered him to be your childhood crush who also happened to be the one who captured your first kiss. You had known him since you were in middle school. Would things be different if I hadn't had my accident? Would I have come back sooner? Or would I still be there? Are some things you found yourself thinking. Your mind was a jumbled mess of Kise mush.
One day Haru came home late from practice where you had the day off thanks to a photo shoot. He was being loud as he walked up which interested you. He was known for being quiet. Yet, right now, he was laughing and talking quite loudly. You stand from the couch and walk to the front door, opening it. As you poked your head out you saw Haru walking to your door with another boy about his age. The boy easily was about 180 cm tall. He was thin yet he didn't look like he was weak. He had short dark hair that matched his eyes and a delicate dusting of freckles over his cheeks and nose that had glasses perched on top of them.
"A classmate?!" You say out loud as you realise Haru had brought home a friend.
You step out of the door to greet them, forgetting you had your pyjamas on. You stood there in some baggy sweats, a loose shirt that was hanging off your shoulder, and your hair was pulled into a messy bun. You saw the classmate freeze when he saw you, his face lighting up bright red.
"You didn't tell me she was cute!" He whisper-yells to Haru who walked passed you.
Haru rolls his eyes and goes inside. You smile and follow Haru, gesturing for the boy to follow, which he did without hesitating. Once he was inside you noticed he was even more nervous. You could see him visibly trembling as he stood in place. He set his things next to Haru's and looked around curiously.
"Haru why don't you show your friend around a little while I make something to eat." You say as you walk to the kitchen, making a bunch of sandwiches and some tea.
"Sure. This way Kei." Haru spoke as he led the boy around your place, showing him where everything was.
They finally settled in Haru's room. They looked to have pulled out their school work and were working on it. You walk in and set the tray on the table that was in there. The boy jumps slightly but manages a smile and a small 'Thanks'.
"I'll be in the living room Haru. Call me if you need anything." You say as you go to walk out.
"[Name]! Wait!"
"Yes Haru?" You stop and look at Haru who looks at the boy.
"This is Kei Yatagami. He's from the basketball club. He'll be staying the night. Is that okay?" He asks a hint of concern in his voice.
"That's fine Haru. And again if you need anything, call on me." You say, finally leaving the room.

You spent the rest of the night talking with Yuno, the fangirl you had met and befriended at the store the other day. She was brutally honest about everything. From her admiration for Kise to how much she wanted you and Kise together. She was nice and encouraging about your potential relationship. It made you smile every time she gave one of her responses. Eventually you decide that you should tell her about your accident, maybe to get her opinion on the situation or to find out how to deal with it.
