If I could turn back time, I should have saved her at that moment before she disappeared.

I should have expected to pull her out as she screaming for help. After a portal emerges behind her imaging a fiery land while smokes blurring my vision, all of sudden her body pulled into the other side.

Then the portal disappeared into thin air just like that, leaving me speechlessly wondering how could I bring a 17 years old girl back to reality.

I knew something worse will happened that day, but it's not something you can imagine happening.

A portal opened infront of me like that.
Smoke was everywhere.
And Sarah Grace suddenly nowhere.

I really tried to help her but everything happened very fast. She's gone, and I still can't believe what I just saw.

Not just that. To save her we have to encounter the Valkyries and a giant fiery wolf  and even an army of armoured......

Wait.... I'm telling this backward.
Let me just start at the beginning.

Before anything happened, I started my day just like every morning.

With my mom's voice echoing the whole house.
"Edgar Ashford, get down here!"

As usual I will ignore the screaming and went back to sleep since I stay up late last night.

Well, not until my mom went upstair and splash my face with two basin of freezing water which makes me completely awake, with my bed totally showered.

I leaped off the bed.
Took a 2-min shower.
Threw on my clothes and dry my mattress on the verandah.
I raced to the kitchen and sit down next to my little sister, Florence.

"Sorry, I can't sleep last night. I was too nervous for today's competition." I said.

We were competing on a national quiz competition at school. I'm the leader of the team since I won the two previous tournament.

"You will win. You always do," my father said.
As he gave a dollar for my canteen food.

"Don't be too confident. Luck doesn't always be on your side," my mom argued as she hand me a bowl of milk and a box of cereal, "Eat."

"Yeah, FASTER, or you'll miss the
bus . . . again," Florence uttered.
"Ohh,, and also, before I forget, you know what? Sarah will join you later when you come home!"

Sarah Grace is my oldest friend from primary school. Her mother is my mother's friend since college and her father is a Chemistry teacher in my school.

Yesterday, her parents called to ask if Sarah can stay together with us for a couple of weeks while they were abroad to countries to do some research. They dropping her off early this morning at school, and she will live with us until they get back.

"Okay," I said with a sighed.

As I was about to take my first sip of the cereal,
BEEP...BEEP!!!

"There's the bus," my mom said. "Quick!"
In a sip, I finished my cereal in five second.

"See you later!" I said. I grabbed my backpack and rushed out of the house. The bus driver was just beginning to close the door.
