Gasping for air, I gripped the counter to steady myself. My eyes readjusted, and I was met by six surprised and worried looks. The boy, the one in my vision was staring at me. His face a mask of shock.
He murmured something to the other boys and headed swiftly across the room towards me. By this time I had collapsed onto the cold marble floor, and I could vaguely hear the receptionist trying to talk to me in the background. But I couldn't hear her, my mind was else where.
What had just happened? This boy, the one heading towards me right this very second, who was he, what...how...?
As he approached his eyes intently searched mine, almost as if he was looking for an answer. After a moment he outstretched a hand. I took it greatly.
Oh my gosh I must look like a complete dork right now.
He pulled me to my feet, and only then did I seriously take him in. He was quite tall, muscular, with a dancers form and posture. His eyes, now familiar, were a warm green complimenting his midnight black hair, perfectly ruffled, which fell to frame his flawless face.
"...I...um..." I start, still speechless and unknowing what to say. But Instead of staring me down like I was a complete freak, there was something in his expression which hinted that somehow he understood me.
"Its okay...I get them too"
He gets them too? How the heck did he know? I mean obviously its not everyday that you casually fall to the ground but still...
"Oh!..um..what exactly are...they?"
Wow smooth Jade.
He lead me further away from the desk, out of earshot.
"...They're called Visions. Its when you can see glimpses of the future, or the past." He said in a hushed tone.
"But how...why..?"
"Look, we cant talk about it here",he glanced around making sure we were talking alone. "Meet me by the fountain at nine tonight okay." He added with a small smile.
I quickly agreed. I had to know more.
"She's fine, she just...we're close friends and we haven't seen each other for a while you see." He turned telling the now impatient receptionist. She didn't seem exactly convinced, but I gave her a brief, hopefully reassuring smile, which seemed to do the trick.
The boy set off back towards his group of friends, who intently stared towards me, curious.
"Hey, um, whats you're name by the way?" I awkwardly called after him.
He turned, giving me a quick smirk, "Ben, Ben Charlton."

She's here. I've seen her so many times I know that face like the back of my hand. When she looked at me, I wasn't expecting it. I was pulled into a Vision, the same one as yesterday, the same one that I have been having for weeks now, but there was another. I was reaching, trying so desperately to save her, but he got there first, as he has so many times before.
Its started again.
This time I can't make any mistakes. Not like before. It's different this time, I can feel it. We both want this more than ever, but I'm not letting her go. I can't let him sacrifice any more. Enough is enough.

The destined one has arrived. Jade Mathews. Already Ben is toying with my plans, but he never learns. If he just let it go it would be better for both him and the girl, and it would be so less...painful you could say. For the both of them.
Now, why not a little fun and games. Let's see what the newbie can handle...
