Demi's POV
I heard a ring at the door, so I went upstairs and opened the door.
It was Blake, Carter, Ryder, Jason, Alex and Bethany.
I gave them a small smile and they walked in. None of us exchanged a word.
Alex cleared his throat awkwardly.
"So when do we go?" He asked, looking around the basement.
"Rebecca is upstairs getting her things. She will be down in a min-"
Before i can finish my sentence, Rebecca came downstairs with a brown backpack, wearing a sweater and some jeans.
"Oh hey kids. Everyone ready?" Rebecca asked and everyone nodded except for Ryder who was digging in his bag.
All of us looked at him and I raised an eyebrow.
He shrugged before saying,"I need some mint. Anyone has some?"
I shaked my head in disappointment. Another reason why I don't wanna take them.
Bethany sat down and I sat next to her. She sighed and her hands started shaking a little. I put my arm around her shoulders.
"Everything will be fine. Nothing is gonna happen. I promise we will figure out what is going on with you."
Even though Bethany fainted only once she was still scared what else will happen.
She nodded and sighed heavily. She stood up and started walking around the basement with her head down and her arms behind her back.
Carter raised and eyesbrow and pointed to Bethany. I sent him a worried smile indicating that she was nervous. Carter looked at his phone and giggled.
HE FREAKIN GIGGLED.
Man up Carter!
When he noticed everyone amused he covered up his laug- giggle with a cough and straightened up his back.
I checked the time and it was 2:30. The portal should have-
Everyone gasped as I looked up seeing the portal opened.
"Cross your fingers everyone." I looked at Carter and Bethany hugging the life our of each other and praying to god.
I stiffled a laugh and Blake glared at Carter. Someone is a little jelly. We all walked in and....
POOF!
Unknown POV
I walked in the portal and saw them standing in a greeny and grassy field. I quickly laid down so nobody knows I came.
I saw Rebecca slowly breathe in the air. I noticed that I was doing the same. It has been long since we had been here and now it feels nice to be back.
"If we walk this way, we can find a ride to the countryside. But if we go this way we go to the city."
Rebecca asked the kids.... or teens.
"Why don't we go in between. Maybe like the local farm of the city or something." The princess answered, tying her jacket around her waist.
"Are you sure you know what you are doing. We can just come back another time." Another girl said shaking a bit.
Is it really her?......
Both girls have grown into sophisticated, beautiful young ladies.
I just don't know how to approach them. Specially Rebecca. Dows she even remember me?
"Bethany, there is no going back. I promised we would figure out what is happening to you and we will." The princess said.
Her name is Bethany?
Since when?
The girl- Bethany- nodded as in saying you are right.
Along with Rebecca, the princess and the Bethany were 5 other boys.
Why did boys come?
They can be in great danger.
Well... what's done is done, right?
They started walking and after they were about 30 meters away from me I started following them.
After about an hour of walking, consisting: the boys grunts, prays, and things they would do if they survived the journey, we finally reached a small cottage that was a mile or 2 away from the city.
I hid behind a tree when they stopped walking.
The princess knocked on the door, but nobody answered. How disrespectful.
She knocked again and nobody answered again.
The princess walked in through the front door looking around.
"Nobody lives here. There are old sofas that look like they went through a tsunami and dust that can last a person's allergy up to 5 years."
"Will you look at that. Guess we should head back home." One of the teens said nervously turing around.
But the princess grabbed his back collar and pulled him back.
"No Ryder. We came this far, although in doesn't seem like it. Plus, I did not just spent a month teaching you how to use swords." Her highness said crossing her hands.
They all went inside with their bags, while I quickly put on my hood and walked across the house quietly to find a place to stay.

Sorry, but...... after September I won't be able to update as much because of school.
I am probably going to update once a week and I will definitely finish this book, because I hate it when i read a book and it has not been updated for a long time even years.
