Raise unawareness
Put on a smile
Show them your careless
Your eyes sting with tears
They’ve done this for years
Your anxiety is crippling
Your grades, slipping
You tell them your okay
But your brain tells you “no way”
But your heart tells you “please stay”
You do as your told
Hope to live ‘til your old
You don’t know if you can take it
Winning this fight
Seems impossible
With eerie words filling your head
You scream “I just want to be dead"
No one comes to see
No one hears your plea
Please keep fighting
Do it for me
