Today is the day peeta comes home.

When haymitch told me I was overjoyed

'Flashback'

I walk into haymitch's house and I'm greeted by the horrible stench of alcohol and I'm greeted by a surprisingly sober haymitch he said "oh hello sweetheart, guess what" haymitch says, "what" i say bitterly "lover boy is coming back next week" " oh my god really" "ye-"

But before he can finish his sentence I run strait home. OH MY GOD! My boy with the bread is finally coming home!

The sound of a train brings me back to reality when a boy with blonde hair comes out of the door."PEETA!!!" When he hears me he turns his head and I finally get to see those blue eyes I missed so much "KATNISS!!!" I run strait for him when I finally get to him I hug him so tight as if I let go he will disappear "I missed you" I hear peeta say " I missed you too sooooooo much!" I say but before I can say anything else Peeta has his lips on mine.

Peeta pov

I can't believe I'm actually kissing Katniss Everdeen! the girl I've loved ever since I layed eyes on her.when we finally break apart I say "I'm sorry I had to do that." I look shamefully at the ground then I feel her fingers under my chin so I slowly lift my head to were I'm looking strait into her beautiful gray eyes when she says "why?" "Because I don't want to force you to love me." I say truthfully when I say it I can see shame flicker in her gray eyes "oh peeta, I love you and I have loved you ever since that moment in the arena when your heart stopped and I realize how much I really love you just that I was scared to love because I had never loved before." She says still looking at me strait in the eyes. "really"i ask "Really" she says lovingly "I love you so much katniss!" "I love you too peeta" and this time she leans in until our lips finally reach. after awhile of kissing we break apart due to lack of air."come on peeta let's go home." katniss says before she pulls me away from here!
