You Could Be The One {Blake Griffin fanfic}

Chapter One

*Mae's POV*

Oh my God, I'm going to a Clippers game today! This is probably the most exciting thing I've done since i moved to LA a couple months ago.

I'm a model. No one big and special just a model that gets jobs every here and there. But my dream is too hopefully become a real supermodel. Until then, I get the small modeling jobs and split the rent with my best friend Lilly.

Anyways, in my last modeling job, I got a big check, so i decided to celebrate with Lilly by taking her with me to a clippers game.

It was only 3, and the game starts at 7:30, so we decided to go to the mall. at about 5, we make our way to the food court, and rest for a bit.

"you want something to eat girlie? " Lilly asked getting up. "nah, just a fruit water. " I say casually. "ya know you've gotta eat something." Lilly replied. 

at first i didn't really eat much so i could get down to a modeling size, but after i did, I just stopped eating. it really is unhealthy, but luckily I still have a bit of a figure. Im always hungry, I just never have the taste for anything, so i don't eat anything. 

"let's split nachos." Lilly says. 

"I hate nachos. " I state. 

"you hate everything." Lilly says.

"you hate everything. " I mock Lilly jokingly, then she goes off to get some food.

at the staples center, Lilly and I take our seats, ( courtside if i may add. ) and wait for the game to Start.

I start to take pictures of Lilly and i on my phone and post them to instagram.

As i look through my photos, I happen to look up and see the clippers as they walked out to the court. I see Blake walk out and he looks around the court. But as soon as his eyes meet mine, it's as if they are glued to me. Roaming up and down my body. 

*Blake's POV*

I make my way to the court and look around at how many people came. but while i was looking around, someone happens to catch my eye.

She was beautiful. Long brown hair, that reached past her shoulders, big brown eyes, natural tanish skin just like mine. she might be mixed.

She was wearing a clippers jersey, but not just any jersey. It was my jersey, but i could barely tell because she had a black zip-up hoodie on with it. 

She was also wearing black jeans and black and white Jordan's. Even though someone might say she looked kinda basic, she sure took my breath away. and i could tell the feeling was mutual, so I gave her a little wink.

*Mae's POV*

In the end, clippers won 112-107 against the Houston rockets. Blake scoring 34 points total. 9 dunks and 2 3-points the rest were layups and rebounds. I was really impressed. 

I remember the first time i saw a clippers game. I instantly fell in love with Blake Griffin, but i never thought the feeling would be mutual.

Lilly said she had to use the restroom, so i went with her so i could check myself in the mirror.

when I'm finished, I wait outside the restroom door for Lilly.

as i am waiting outside, I hear deep voices talking their way to my destination. when i can get a good look, I see it is Deandre Jordan and Blake Griffin.

once again our eyes meet.

*Blake's POV*

"Hey man, hold up a sec. " I say to Dj, as i make my way toward the beautiful woman i saw earlier.

"Hi." was the only thing i could say, as i walk up to her.

"Oh, hello." she said, showing the most perfect smile I've ever seen on anyone.

"I saw you earlier and i just wanted to say hey... and possibly get your number?"

I say with a bit of charm. 

"Haha. are you serious?" she said with a laugh.  I didn't know if i should be insulted or not,  so I just laugh along.

"so... is that a yes?" I finally say, a bit confused.

"ahhh, sure." she says holding her hand out for my phone.

I unlock it and give it to her.

"there ya go." she says, giving me my phone back.

"Mae?... that's a pretty name." I say, grinning at my phone.

"thanks." she says, then turns around to see another girl.

"you ready?" the other girl says, talking to Mae.

"Yup." Mae says, walking with off with her friend, but she quickly turns around to say, "Bye Blake." with a wave and flirty wink.

I do the same and then walk back to Dj to tell him Mae.

what do ya think?  I think i really like this one.  I plan to update this one every week. ( preferably Saturday or Sunday).
