"I can't believe you!" I flinched as he screamed at me, his normally bright, happy, green eyes turned dark with hatred. "Everything was fine and now you are saying we can't be together because of what? You won't even tell me that!"
My eyes started at the ground as I took in his anger. "Jacob I'm sorry.. It just.. I can't do this.."
I stared off in space as I thought about what happened only hours before. The look on his face, the anger he had for me at that moment.. I tried focusing on my homework but failed as a tear hit the page. I quickly wiped my cheeks trying to keep my composure.
"Rain! You have a visitor!" My mom, Doris, yelled at me from downstairs.
"Coming!" I yelled back, wondering who showed up. I closed my textbook, tying my messy hair in a pony tail, re adjusting my sweat pants and t shirt before walking downstairs. I stopped dead in my tacks as I looked at the person in front of me. Jacob.
"I'll leave you both be.." My mom mumbled quickly darting out of the living room and I looked down.
"Rain.." He started and I bit my lip.
"Why are you here?" I cut him off, my voice faltering.
"I want an explanation.. If there's something that's going on please let me in.. I want to help.."
