"Mike, for the last time, I'm not a fucking kitten!" I crossed my arms over my chest and pouted.
"De Nile ain't just a river."
"Mike, oh my- Tre, back me up?" I looked at Tre, who was across the room, holding in laughter.
"He's got you beat." He shrugged.
"At least admit you're part kitten."
"I'm not a kitten!"
Mike looked at Tre, who looked back and grinned. Tre jumped on Mike and I. Mike held me in a headlock and ruffled my hair. "Don't touch me, peasant!" I tried to wiggle free.
"Okay," Mike let me go. "We're done, Tre."
"I'm not a kitten," I mumbled. Mike held me closer to him.
Mike and I are just really good friends. We've never been anything but that. Yeah, he's a little touchy- touchy, but I don't care. I kinda like the attention. It makes me feel like I matter to someone.
"Pleasure doing business with ya." Tre shook Mike's hand.
"Likewise." He turned his attention back to me. "Admit it."
"I'm not a kitten!" I rested my head on his shoulder. "I am tired, though."
"Then go to sleep." I curled up to him and closed my eyes, trying to go to sleep. Mike's other arm went around me.
