It's been two weeks since the funeral, and it's been really tough, especially on little Toby. He would always wake me up every single night at 12, 2 and 4 in the morning. So, now after two weeks I officially have dark circles, not super bad but if you see me up close then you'll notice. Also, Roy practically lives at our house now.
You know how his family is always out of state- yeah, turns out his parents were looking for a new house and they purchased a big house on Friday- so that would be three days ago. I'm sorry if my thoughts are like a pancake, i'm half asleep watching a movie with my Auntie.
" Honey you look exhausted. You should go sleep dear." I sighed it's noon and its so bright- my eyes sting, I wish my glasses could hide my eyes from the brightness. I let out a huge yawn. Roy had another episode less than an hour ago. Speaking of Roy, now everyday he has about three seizures, rarely four, but that's usually when we have a huge project, or finals- I guess the stress is getting to him, which is definitely not a good sign..at all.
" Auntie, what if Toby or Roy-" My auntie sighs, I stop talking because rule #523 whenever a person sighs, that means they have to say something.
" I'll watch them, you've been putting so much stress on yourself, honey isn't your friend Lucas supposed to watch him today? and yesterday?" Lucas called me, two days ago saying he had a emergency with his family so I had to watch him, which I don't mind- it's just I can use a day to myself to sleep.
I stretched out on the couch and snuggled against my fluffy soft red blanket. I closed my eyes and less than a minute I fall asleep.

I wake up to glass shattering. I jump up from the couch- If only it was like people saying. I basically tried to jump up and I only got more tangled with my blanket and I completely fell off the couch.
" Roy honey, stop moving." I hear my Auntie say.
" No! I broke it, I need to clean it." I hear a huge yelp and then my aunties huge gasp. I finally get untangled from my blanket and I get up and run my little feet to the kitchen to see Roy clutching the countertop with his hands, his back facing me. I see his hands bleeding, then I notice how he's shaking really bad. I rush to his side- thankfully not tripping for once. I grab his elbow.
" Hey, whats the matter?" I grabbed his hands and turned them over so I could see his palms. His palms were the color of the inside of a cherry. My eyes widened, thats a big cut, thankfully it doesn't look too deep, but it's not a small bo-bo.
" It's all my fault I broke the cup. I didn't mean to I swear, I just-" Roy stops ramblings and he started pulling his hair out of frustration, but I could definitely see some anger flash in his eyes for a millisecond. I've been noticing after every episode he's all extremely moody. But recently this week he's been super shaky afterwards and he gets easily frustrated- like right now. It's honestly pretty frightening seeing one of your close friends change in a snap.
I think maybe since he's been having so many seizures it's starting to take a tole on his brain and how it functions in some areas. If only my adopted mom was still here she would help me. She'll definitely know what to do.
" Hey it's okay, we had way to many cups anyways. It's always replaceable. Here lets go to the doctors. Auntie can you open the garage door while I get Roy in?" My aunt nods and offers me a small smile before opening the garage door.
After getting Roy in the back seat, I get in the passenger side and watch my Aunt drive. I mean might as well learn while I can so i'm not a total disaster. I turn on the radio and I leave it at volume 14- so it's not as loud for Roy. I'm not an expert on what he has so i'm not sure if the sound will effect his brain or something- I just need to breathe and calm down.
If your wondering where Toby is, well he's back home sleeping in his room. I know, I know, why did you leave a five year old alone at home. Well, my aunt is gonna fill Roy's paperwork and then leave back home to take car of Toby and I'll just text her when to pick us up once his appointment is over with.
" You guys go sit down while I talk with the ladies." My Auntie says, I hold onto Roys arm and carried a little of his weight- you know when someone just needs a little push, well that's this case.
" Are you comfortable?" I look up at Roy- yes I have to look up because i'm that tiny. He sighs, at gives me a lazy look.
" I'm comfortable just a bit tired." I nod.
" Is their anything I can do?" He nods.
" Can I have a cup of water Seeds? Oh and tell the Doctor to hurry up." I quickly got up and asked the front desk lady where I could get a cup of water. On my way back I asked the lady how much longer it'll take for the doctor to see Roy and she said were next so about three to five minutes. I thanked her and sat back down next to Roy and handed him the cup of water. Within a few minutes Roys called up.
" You ready?" I give him my bright smile, maybe it would cheer him up a bit.
" No." Oh well he seems extremely jolly about this. I wonder how this will go.
