Chapter Four

So I can't add a picture for a while...not yet at least...I'm still at school and the new fucking iPads they gave us won't allow the app to be downloaded onto it...so I'm actually on the website doing this...but when I get home, I will throw in a picture of everyone's favorite RWBY professor...no...not Port...lol jk-Sky

'He does know he can let go...I'd really like it if he did...' my ears were down, and I was blushing so much. "So! I bought you a gift, and got you this cake...the gift is in your room on your bed...and here's the cake..." he held out some cake. "Oh...uh...thanks?" I said in a questioning way, "what's the matter Y/N?" He raised an eyebrow, "huh? Oh! N-Nothing...." I awkwardly cleared my throat. Over the past years of being here at Beacon, I've grown fond of Oz...which is really awkward because he's technically my adopted father.

"Oh! Qrow brought this...it's your birthday gift from him to you..." he handed me a little box, I opened it, and saw a ring with my birthstone on it...well...the stone that goes with the month I was found (you decide what month you were found) I stared at the shiny gem in the middle of the ring. "It's so pretty..." Oz chuckled as I slid it on my middle finger, "awesome..." I smiled. After that we ate some cake, I went back to class, and then my team and I went to our rooms. "Hey Y/N...whats this box?" Asked Aika jumping on her bed.

"Huh? Oh...it my gift from Oz...today is the day he found me...so he says it's my eighteenth birthday...woohoo...eighteen days I've been alive...yay..." I said rolling my eyes (same tho) "hehe" she chuckled. "You going to open it?" Asked Tashimi, I just shrugged, "you should...I'm curious..." Aika smiled as she then sat on her bed. "Okay..." I opened the big box and pulled out a long strapless F/C mermaid dress. "All right...he bought me...a dress?" I raised an eyebrow. "Probably for the dance..." Aika suggested, "all right..." I put the dress back.

*Day of the dance*

I walked out of the bathroom, stumbling because of the heels, "ooh! You look so beautiful!" Aika exclaimed, "remind me again why I have to wear these stupid shoes..." I groaned. "It's a dance...you can't not wear pretty shoes to go with your new dress to a dance..." she grabbed my arm, and we went to the dance. "I hate this...I feel like everyone is staring at me..." I rubbed my arms. I'm not one for dresses and dances. In fact...I try to avoid dresses and dances. Ozpin knows this. "Oh shush...come on...let's get something to drink..." Aika and I walked over to the punch bowl.
