Sorry it's short and late it had some trouble uploading.
He took a step back and walked away without saying anything. My fingers touched my lips. I was confused. I knew I didn't like him but my emotions were mixed.
I walked inside and up to my room to change into something comfier. I grabbed a purple tank top and some plaid short boxers. I went to my bathroom and put my hair up in a pony tail so I could wash my face. I leaned against the counter and stared at myself in the mirror.
I sighed and then wiped my face off with a wash cloth and turned the light off as I walked out. I ran downstairs and made myself cozy and comfortable on the couch to watch a movie. I was thinking something like Harry Potter which was my favorite series. I was starting to get into more as it went on when I heard a gentle knock on the door. I looked up at the clock. It was only 7?
I got up to answer the door and saw Kian standing there with spring colored daisies.
"Hi?" I tilted my head.
"These are for you." He licked his lips.
"Kian uh they are beautiful but I hardly know you and its not exactly appropriate to give me flowers." I said.
"Don't worry they weren't exactly for you. My mom brought them over this morning but I don't like flowers so here they are." He stated.
"Well I guess that makes two of us." I grinned.
I grabbed the flowers from his hands and walked into the kitchen while he stood awkwardly at the door.
"You can come in." I chuckled.
"Oh right." He nodded.
I opened the trash can to throw the flowers away. I never really was a flower person.
"So what have you been up to?" He asked.
"Uh well I had dinner with Jared and now I'm watching Harry Potter. What about you? Been up to much?" I retorted the question.
"Nah not much I'm more of the chill lay back type." He responded.
"Really?" I squinted.
"Ha no but I haven't done much. You did blow me off Avery. What was I supposed to do."
"Well sorry. Do you want to watch the movie with me. Right now company would be nice." I suggested.
"You sure?"
"Yeah." I smiled.
We walked towards the living room and I threw my blanket to the other couch. I leaned over a bit and patted the couch. He sat down a couple inches away from me and looked at me with a goofy face.
"I didn't know you wore glasses." I exclaimed.
"Oh no these were just laying in my room when I was cleaning."
"Oh so you're one of those neat freaks?" I joked.
"Only sometimes." He laughed.
"Theres two things we have in common so far." I beamed.
He smiled back.
{KIANS POV}
"Shh this is my favorite part." She said.
Yes. Avery has her flaws and shes not perfect but thats what makes her perfect. I've heard shes a great person but I want to be able to get to know the Avery everyone else knows.
"Ok." I whispered back.
It was about 9 when the movie ended. I looked over at her and she was fast asleep on the couch.
I got up and and dusted myself off even though there was nothing there. I smiled at how peaceful she looked. I slid one hand under her neck and the other behind her knees and picked her up. She was heavier than I thought but still pretty light.
I walked upstairs and looked for her bedroom. I assumed it was the one with the laptop and light greenish colored walls. I set her down on her huge bed and tucked her into the covers. She adjusted a bit but once she was comfortable I moved the hair away from her face and shut the door on my way out.
I went down to the living room and turned the tv off and put the movie away. When I was done I locked the door and let myself out.
{AVERYS POV}
I woke up to the sunlight shining in my eyes. The brightness was unbearable. I didn't remember coming up to my bedroom last night so my only guess was Kian. I got out of bed and turned the shower on to get it warmed up.
I grabbed my coral short shorts my floral tank and everything else. I stepped in the shower and rinsed myself off watching the drips slide down my chest.
I washed my hair and face along with my body and made sure to shave. When I was ready I grabbed the towel from the rack and wrapped it around me. Before I got dressed I brushed my teeth and dried my face off. I grabbed the clothes off the counter and got dressed. I plugged my blow dryer in and blow dried my hair then straightened it out. I parted it on one side and gave it a waterfall braid.
I was pretty hungry today and I didn't know why. Last night was fun with Kian so I figured I would text him and ask him if he wanted to go out for breakfast. I sat at my desk and tapped against it while my eyes wandered the room.
About two minutes later he texted back. "Yeah be there in 5."
I responded with "Ok."
I grabbed my white sandals and my credit card along with my phone. I walked downstairs and grabbed my car keys off the counter. I met him outside just as he was walking up to my door.
"Hey!" I smiled.
"Well look who's happy! You driving?"
"Yup." I responded.
We both got in the car and I started it up.
"So got anything in mind?" He asked me.
"I have been craving Panera. Does that sound good?" I answered.
"Panera is my favorite lets go." He beamed.
We pulled into the parking lot. We got out of the car and I dropped my phone against the as-fault.
"Shit." I mumbled under my breath.
I was getting a call from Jamie. I fumbled to pick my phone up off the ground.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Where the hell are you?" She shouted.
"Chill out I'm at breakfast." I yelled.
"We were supposed to go to the beach house today.." She said.
"Calm down I'm at breakfast with Kian and we will be home soon. We have it for the weekend chill out."
"Uh Avery I'm in your room and I don't see your bags anywhere."
"Yeah you want to pack me up some stuff." I chuckled.
"Oh my god Avery."
"Thanks I love you. Bye." I made kissy noises into the phone.
"Who was that?" Kian looked at me strange.
"Jamie I forgot we were going to the beach house today-" I paused.
"Why don't you and the guys join us." I suggested.
"You sure? I don't want to intrude on your girly weekend."
"Don't worry you're not. Its just the two of us and the more the better." I wanted it to be more than just Jamie and I.
"Ok I'll let the guys know!" He opened the door for me.
