Alex
We pull in the driveway to our new home in the suburbs of New York. The house has 2 stories, a basement and 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, which may sound excessive but my parents and I loved how beautiful the home was. It was definitely a change from living in California all 16 years of my life. My father made sure there was a pool so I could continue swimming.

Well I should probably introduce myself. I'm Alex, Alex Elizabeth Sattori. I'm 16 years old, 5'9, I have one hazel eye and the other is a bright blue eye, long brown hair and my ends are a vibrant turquoise, and I'm pretty damn tan from always being in the sun. Now it might sound a little weird but I'm a senior in high school. Yes, I know, 16 is pretty young, but I turn 17 later on in the school year!

'Elizabeth! Please come down stairs and help carry your brothers things to his room...and also set everything up like it was in his old room' My mother said.

I trot down stairs wondering how long it will take before I realize my new name is Alex and only my parents will ever be calling me Elizabeth. It's a complicated mess which has to do why I always exercise and eat strictly healthy. Maybe if I was strong enough I could've stop-

'Elizabeth, please' my mother said again.

I quickly push away my awful thoughts and start to set up my brothers room. Once i have it completed I take a shower and head straight for bed. Tomorrow is my first day at Eastern Heights High School after all.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
'Ugh fuck, it's my first day today'

I slowly get up and decide on wearing ripped skinny jeans with brown ankle boots and a flowy dark blue shirt and some accessories. I hop down the steps and smell the sweetness of blueberry French toast with eggs and bacon. I smile loving how through everything my parents still remain the happiest they try to be.
'Good morning sunshine, ready for your first day?' My father says.

'Definitely! I'm so fucking excited' I say sarcastically.

'Hey young lady, no swearing' my mom says smiling even though we all know she doesn't care what profanity I say. She is pretty chill but try's to be more of a mom to me than just a friend type of mom. I sit down and wolf down this tasty food and head towards the garage.

'I'm off to school! Love you both!!'

'Love you too' both my parents say in unison.

I hop in my red Camaro and head for school. Once I arrive I park furthest away and start walking towards the giant building. There's many students talking out front and chatting at the picnic tables, while others file inside. I can't help but feel nervous butterflies in my stomach. Will I make any new friends or is that a bad idea considering what happened at the-
'Hi! You must be the new girl everyone's been talking about and expecting! We're a small group of kids but have a giant school for some odd reason. We only have 800 kids! It's unnecessary for such a big school, anyways are you excited??!'

Damn, this girl talked a lot, but seemed quite nice and pretty.

'Wow that was a lot of words at once, but yeah I heard about that, and no I'm not that excited more nervous on making new friends...and I'm Alex by the way'

'Girl I already know your name! I literally just said how everyone has been talking about you
And my name is Allison, Allison Reed.'

Allison sounds like a pretty optimistic girl and looks like someone I'll get along with. She does have some attitude to her which I like, she can definitely take care of herself.

'Earth to Alex' she waved in my face 'Come on, schools about to start, and I know this is creepy but I checked in the office and we have all the same classes! We're going to be great friends I hope'
