Amelia POV
"ARE YOU READY FOR THE FIRST DAY OF JUNIOR YEAR?" my best friend, Lillian, practically screeched. "Ugh did you really need to call, it's 6 AM!" I calmly responded while rolling my eyes. "Oh whatever, I've been awake for over an hour, get going already. I'll be at your house in approximately 20 minutes to pick you up". She's insane, I know but that's why I love her. Since I only have 20 minutes to get ready thanks to a certain someone, I decide to wear a simple floral dress, braid my hair and throw on a little bit of makeup to look presentable. Sort of. I'm not exactly the most aesthetically pleasing being ever but I adore my emerald green eyes. Then again I don't really care about how I look right now as long as I have time to eat. YES! I still have 5 minutes until Lilly gets here. I'm actually STARVING.
*5 minutes later*
I was in the middle of stuffing cold pizza in my mouth when I suddenly hear "BITCH I'M HERE". I turn around to face my drop dead gorgeous best friend, Lilly. She was in a black t-shirt and ripped jean shorts. Her auburn hair was curled to perfection and her blue eyes were bright. I love her hair even though she hates it. She always complains about the color but it's honestly beautiful meanwhile my hair is a plain dark brown color and it's extremely curly. My hair absolutely can not be controlled. "Do you always have to yell?" I ask sarcastically. "I need to make my presence known." She stated simply. As I said before she's crazy. I stared at her for a few seconds trying to hold back the laughter but it escaped my lips anyway. "Alright let's go" I giggled.
We get into Lily's car and we start the dreaded ride to school also know as hell. "OH MY GOD. Did you hear the news?" She asked with excitement. "What news?" Hopefully it's nothing bad but by the way lily asked that I'm assuming it's something good. "There's a new boy and from what I've heard he's pretty hot." I groan internally. Arghhhh why must she be so boy crazy. "So?" She sent me a glare "so there's a hot new boy at our school" she said annoyed. "OH MY GOD THATS REALLY AMAZING, I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Is that better?" I question with sarcasm. "Much better."
Oh this is going to be fun.
