"Do you ever get nervous?" Ayla asked, turning her attention from the gorgeous California sunset to Logan.
Logan put down his coke and looked up at Ayla, confused.
"I'm a maverick. We fearless." Logan responded coolly, wiping the perplexed look from his face.
Ayla rolled her eyes. "I mean about your fame. You're growing more famous by the minute, and you're not afraid something will happen to you?" She asked, a genuine concern in her voice.
"Nothing's gonna happen Ayla. You're always such a worry flurry." Logan picked up his coke again, and chugged it until it was half empty.
"Yeah, whatever. But please remember that bad things can happen to good people, and on top of that, you are so trusting of your 'fans'. There are lots of bad people out there, Logan."
"In the Logang? I highly doubt that." Logan responded impulsively. Ayla sighed, knowing he would not listen to her, and none of this information would ever pass through his thick skull.
"Just promise me you'll be careful?" She said after a long pause. Logan chuckled softly.
"Ok, Mom. I'll be careful."
