The sky was a blue and purple that looked as if someone had mixed paint and splashed it above them. The clouds were giant white spaces that were left to stand for something more, but the art teacher just wanted you to fill the whole page with no spaces left. Mist settled from the sky and tickled the grass making it laugh until it cried. The sun rose above the horizon and lit the world we called home.

Black and blue bruises permanently stained my legs from sports that were pushed on me to make me look better for college.  If anyone had asked me about my future I would have said, "Hey, why don't I just take a break for a while and find myself?" But, no one had asked me. So here I am going into senior year with five years of soccer under my waist trainer, and 4.0 GPA. Can we say nerd? Or shall we say controlled?

Nevertheless, I still had my two best friends, Courtney and Jade. Courtney was the girl who fit in where ever she went. It could be preps, jocks, nerds, geeks, or the others. It didn't matter to her, because she was the most accepting person.

On the other hand, Jade was a dark spirited person who only talked to a hand full of people and was laughed at for her dress style and choice of people. We were the three girls you'd never think to see together, but you'd never see us apart.
