"Come on, it will be soooo much fun!" Said Caitlin. "Yeah!" Said Eiley(eye-lee) Those were my two best friends.... Ever since me and my boyfriend broke up, I haven't gone out to party in a long time. "We can go to karaoke!!!" "Fine." I say.
-10pm-
"Alyssa, get up there!" Just before I could answer, Eiley pushes me on stage. Everyone turns and looks at me. right when the music to 'defying gravity' turns on. I breathe in deeply and start to sing. Everything except me stopped, it felt like I was just in my room singing in front of my mirror. Just this time, I wasn't singing for the glory, I was finally moving on. I poured my whole heart into this song. The song ended and I came back to reality. Everyone looked stunned, I looked around and everyone started cheering. I just smiled and walked off stage. I walked to my table and sit down. Eiley and Caitlin looked at me in complete shock. "I knew you could sing but damn." "Yeah Alyssa." I looked up at them and said," Thank you."
The night ended with partying and fun. I think I really needed that.
