Marvel marathons

*Madeline's POV*

I grab my books out of my locker and slam it shut laughing as Liz explains to me her obsession with Marvel for the hundredth time.

"Girl we should totally have a Marvel marathon this weekend." Liz squeals with excitement.

I smile "Why not. Let's do the works popcorn, pizza, and Skittles to eat?"

She throws her arms around my neck and hugs me "Madeline you are the bestest friend in the whole wide world. You know how my parents are with movies etc cause of my three younger siblings."

I hug her back "Yes I know no PG-13 movies."

She rolls her eyes "I'm 17 yet the only time I can watch those movies is at your house. Why did I have to be blessed with the other three terrors who are under 12. You are so lucky you are an only child."

I shrug "Are you sure siblings is all that bad? You know sometimes being an only child sucks."

She groans "Mark woke me up at 7 am on this past freaking Saturday cause he wanted to practice his brand new trumpet. He made it into the band at school. Oh and then Lily decided she wanted to join in so she brought her recorder she got in third grade this year and played along with him. And lo and behold they woke little Nicholas up so he started screaming his head off."

She takes a deep breath and I put my arm around her as we start walking to class.

"You know you love them though." I say giggling.

Liz glares at me and I laugh some more. She adores her siblings she just won't admit it.

We reach Liz's Economic class and hug good bye.

I wink "See you at lunch oh great Captain Marvel."

I then spin around a little too fast and run right into the hard chest of someone.

I then slowly look up into the gorgeous blue eyes of Jay the most popular guy in school.

I quickly look down and apologize in a rush as I quickly make my way to history class.

I slowly face palm myself and think Oh my God Madeline can you get anymore embarrassing. You just ran into one of the most hottest guys in school.

I groan and lay my head on my desk in embarrassment.

Eventually my morning classes are over and I head out of literature class eyes on the floor.

Before I know it I accidentally trip over the side of a desk.

Strong arms grab me as the person chuckles "Well I guess this makes the second time today you have ran into me."

I look up cautiously and see Jay's blue eyes. I blush and say "Um um I-I'm sorry again."

He stands me upright showing a cheeky smile "It's quite alright. Hey do you have any plans this Friday night?"

I look at him "Uh no no I don't why?"

He smiles "Well since you have made quite an impression on me I was wondering if you would like to come to a party I am having at my house."

I have heard about Jay's legendary parties before but have never been invited or gone to one yourself.

I blush again. "I will think about it."

He winks at me backing away "I hope to see you there."

I take a deep breath and head out of the classroom excitement going through me as I can't wait to tell Liz the news.

I enter the lunch room to see Liz at our usual spot engrossed in a book.

I slowly sneak behind her and cover her eyes "Guess who." You say

She grins and says "Um the tooth fairy."

Shaking my head as I sit down Liz says to me "What has got my best friend in such a happy mood."

I smile widely at her "Guess who invited me to his party? Jay McDonald."

She sets her book down and slowly looks at me "Bae promise me that you will be careful. I have heard before that Jay and some of his friends are not good news."

I nod my head biting my lip "Well if I need protection will you come with?"

She squeals "Ahhh yes I need to party it up. A night away from my siblings oh please please."

Shaking my head I get up from the table patting my tummy "It's speaking to me."

She laughs as I walk away to the lunch line.

I lick my lips at the options in front of me eventually choosing a turkey sandwich and a pudding cup.

I start to walk back and look up only to see piercing green eyes staring at me belonging to no other than Kyle Parker.

I stare back not wanting to take my eyes off of his.

My tummy then rumbles again reminding me of where I am and what I am supposed to be doing.

I quickly look away blush seeping onto my cheeks as I make my way back to Liz.

She grins at me "What was that?"

I look down "What was what?"

She punches my arm "Don't play dumb with me missy you and Kyle Parker just had an intense staredown with each other. It's like you were undressing each other with your eyes."

I cough as I'm drinking my water "No no no." I sputter

Liz punches me in the arm again as I become lost in thought thinking about those green eyes.

Kyle Parker sigh there is something about you I think smiling to myself.
