You look happier, you do:-1 week later-
"Faster Aden!" Lexa yelled at her most prized nightblood "agility is more precious then strength in this area!"
Clarke watched lexa train the nightbloods from the side of the ark, with her sketchbook in hand. It was hard for her to draw when everyone was moving so quickly.
"Spying?" Bellamy whispered in Clarkes ear causing her to jump.
"Jesus Bellamy!" Clarke hit his arm softly "I'm not spying, I'm just watching."
"Uh-huh? Watching?" Bellamy snatched her sketchbook from her hands and held it above his head so Clarke couldn't reach. "Ooo there's lexa...and lexa again...and what do you know lexa again!" He shouted
"Give it back Bellamy!" Clarke grabbed Bellamys arm, yanking it down trying to get a hold of the sketchbook.
Lexa had turned her head to the sound of Clarkes yelling and saw Bellamy dancing around like a fool.
"Hod op!" (Stop!)Lexa shouted "ostof" (rest) lexa walked over to them with her hand behind her back. Her war paint displayed along her face made her intimidating to all, especially when she raised her voice. When she was to Bellamys side, she used one swift move to knock him down. She grabbed the book from his hand and handed it to Clarke seeing a glimps of herself in a page making her blush profusely.
"Thank you lexa." Clarke smiled while Bellamy moaned in agony
"You're welcome Clarke." Lexa tried hiding her blush. "You don't have to stay way back here just to watch the nightbloods," Lexa said "you can stand next to me? Maybe we can show you a few things?" It was more of an invitation
"Sure," Clarke said not hesitating
Lexa smiled only a little, trying not to let her appearance become less intimidating. But with Clarke, that was kind of hard.
They hadn't kissed since the day lexa asked Clarke to be her girlfriend. She wanted Clarke to kiss her for a change, she knew it was selfish but she needed to know that the girl actually felt the same way. Even though Clarke said she was ready...she was on heavy pain killers. As they were watched the nightbloods train, lexa interrupted the session to see if Clarke wanted to try.
"Come on Clarke you've been resting for over two weeks now. You need to get back in shape." Lexa tried
"I don't know lexa..." Clarke rubbed her arm embarrassed
"Nightbloods! We're done for today, we'll train again tomorrow morning." Lexa told them, and all the little nightbloods left leaving Clarke and lexa. "How about now? I'll walk you through it."
"I'll make you a deal lexa," Clarke started "if I win, you have to take me on a date. But if you win-"
Lexa cut her off "you have to kiss me."
Clarke smiled brightly. "Okay."
"Okay." Lexa said "then let's begin." She passed Clarke the wooden pole "three knockdowns for a win"
And so they started, Lexa went to swipe Clarkes legs but Clarke stopped it with the pole and tried throwing her leg off put failed. Resulting in Lexa hitting her in the middle of the chest and Clarke to loose her balance and fall over."One point for me." Lexa smirked down at Clarke
Clarke held her hand out for Lexa to help her up but once she did Clarke pulled her down so that she was on the ground.
"Really commander you didn't see that coming? One point for me." Clarke laughed at her
They both stood up and started a new round. Clarke hit Lexas side. Hard. She immediately felt bad knowing Lexa had some broken ribs still healing.
"Lexa! I'm so sorry, I totally forgot-" her legs were thrown from the ground and she landed on her back.
"Two points for me." Lexa said
"Jerk!" Clarke yelled standing up trying to hit Lexa again but she blocked it. Lexa could see ever move Clarke was made before she made it. She was pissed and wasn't agile at all. Every attempt she made was hard and predictable, Lexa was in trouble.
"Clarke! Clarke!" She stopped her "slow down, take a breath. Be swift but gentle."
And Clarke did so but Lexa was still predicting her moves and as Clarke was going to wack her side again, Lexa caught it and threw her to the ground.
"Three points fo-"
"You know what this was a stupid idea! I'm not strong enough for this anyways! And you're to much of a dork! I can't-" Clarke yelled
"A dork?" Lexa asked
"Yeah, it's like..when you do something weird or dumb."
"Oh." Lexa said looking down at her feet
"No! It's not bad! It actually makes me want to...kiss you."
"Oh?"
"And you won so it's only fair." Clarke came closer to the girl and let her hands touch her cheeks. Lexa could feel Clarkes hot breath against her skin. Lexas hand lightly touched Clarkes elbows as she leaned in and they kissed. It was nothing like the first time. It wasn't frantic or random or not wanted. Lexa still had butterflies but for a different reason. Clarke griffin was kissing her, her feelings for her were indescribable and she could only describe the way her eyes looked when she was really concentrated. Or when she's drawing.
Or when she's talking to Lexa. She was head over heals for Clarke and she wanted nothing more than to be with her every moment of every day.~~~~~~~~~End of chapter~~~~~~~~~
