30 days (Fallacy x Encre short)

Chap 2: Escape

Encre P.O.V
I keep on running and running, run as far as my feet can carry me into the forest, the forest that forbidden to come or even pay a little visit, but who's care at this moment! I mean I'd rather die here than I have to be suffer everyday in that castle, with my so called master who's always torturing and killing me slowly everyday with all of his stupid commands and punishments that he gave me when every time I disobey him. I was imprisioned, and now I have to set myself free from that place! Somehow, those words inside my head make me more determined, I can feel my feet getting stronger and faster, but that didn't last long when "master" and his men catch up, tracking me down, I fall to the ground hard, I grunted in pain as he uses his dirty shoe to stomps on my face, I close my eyes shut, try to ignore it
"You think you can escape from me that easy? I don't think so!"- he said as he kicks me in the ribs, I scream painfully
"Oh~You hurt? Guess what? I won't stop!"- he laughs mockingly, his kicks getting even harder like he's going to crushes me into pieces...
Fallacy P.O.V
I hear something like someone's screaming nearby. It seems clearer on the right, I decided to follow it, there's a strong scent of mortals when I coming closer, I hide behind a tree to observe the situation, turns out that there's a group of them beating up the other small mortal laying underneath, curling himself
"How many time I told you for not being disrespectful for me, huh?"- I hear the other asks. He then grabs the little mortal by the collar and pulls him straight up
"I'll give you one chance, neither you be a good boy and follow me home or..."- I can see the other's grip got tighten, "You stay here overnight and tomorrow morning I'll come back here to gather up your dust", the smaller looks at him in horror. I'm still watching them in silent. Suddenly the little mortal spits at the other which bring me a little surprise
"I'd rather die here than I have to go back there with you!"- he shouted at the other which make him full of range as he gives the little mortal's face a punch, a hard punch and throw him on the ground, he curls himself up again
"Alright then, if you want to stay here, then I'll let you stay here, better be ready to meet your own DOOM!! LET'S GO!!!"- the other said as he walks away with his group, leaving the heavily wounded mortal behind. I wait for them walking away a little and then get out from my hiding spot, taking my steps toward the wounded one, the fact that mortals are beat up another is not too much unfamiliar to me, I mean there's good and bad one but I don't see anything bad inside this mortal at all, I suddenly feel a little pity for him, I don't think he deserves to be like this. I kneel down to his level, he soon noticed and looks at me with his darken eyes, he opens his mouth tries to say something but then he passed out, I was about to leave him to death but there's something in my mind hold me back like it wants to me to save this mortal and get to know him better, I sigh at the thought as I carry him in my arms, spread my wings and fly back to the castle
