BANG!!! POW!!! SMACK!!! Kayla, in a green super suit who had the power of shape shifting, and Becca, in a teal suit with invisibility power, were punching, kicking and beating up Megan and Mackenna who were trying to rob a bank in Montana. But wait, in a story we must start at the beginning. It all started one sunny Monday morning. The superhero club is just starting their 300th meeting. Lets have a listen.
“There will be a new person joining us today” Becca said calmly.
“WHAT?!?” The rest of the team (Rory in a red suit with the power of strength, Audrey in a purple suit; power of freeze , Valerie, neon orange suit with water power, Mya, blue suit with blue fire power, Kayla and Becca.) said.
“She is new in town. Her name is Riley. She has speed power, she told me herself. She will be here any minute.” Becca explained.
“Why did you invite someone without anyone’s opinion?” Kayla asked
“I did ask you, but you had your head in your textbook!” Becca yelled.
“Sorry. We had a big test and you said it kind of quietly!” Kayla Argued
DING-DONG
“Hello? Hello!” Riley was at the door.
“Coming!” Becca yelled. “Come on Kayla”
"UGH, do I have to?" Kayla whined
"Yes," Becca urged, "you'll like Riley, she is nice."
C-R-E-A-K.
The place the heroes met, Rory's Uncle Yosemite's (Yose for short) house, was old and broken down, but Uncle Yose was the only adult who knew about the girl's powers.
“Hey Ri” Becca said arms outstretched for a hug
“Hey is for horses!” Riley said as she returned the hug.
“Riley, I would like you to meet Audrey, Kayla, Rory, Mya, and Valerie, the team.”
“Hello, girls. I think I met Kayla and Audrey at school today, but maybe not”
“Anyway,” Rory was not impressed with this “Riley” chick. “show me your power.”
“Okay, do you have a mannequin?” Riley asked.
“Yeah, the first time we saved a store we got one to practice, Kayla, go get it.”
“Okay.”
“Thank you.” Rory was being sarcastic
“Here you go!” Kayla said cheerfully.
“Tell me when to start, Rory!” Riley was ready to go.
“NOW!” Rory screamed.
BANG! POW! SMACK! In 30 seconds flat the mannequin was on the ground with Riley on top punching and kicking.
“That is enough.” Rory said.
“Okay, that was fun!” Riley's face was glowing.
“That was so awesome!” in 2 seconds the whole team (besides Rory) was surrounding Riley.
“Look at the time.” Rory said, “We best be getting home before dark”
“Okay.” the team all said in unison. It was almost 8:00.
“Look girls, We need to man up. These heroes are tough. Especially Rory, the strong one.” Riley was talking to her team, Mackenna, Megan, Erin, Emma, and Krissa, the robbers.
“We can't! We have been practicing with no better results and we have planned it for tomorrow.” Mackenna argued.
“Okay, but I will fire anyone who fails. Just so you know.”
