Pt 2

Kaylin's pov

When I got to the lot I seen Johnny and walked over to him. he seen me and smiled.

"Hi" he said then hugged me. I hugged him back of course.

"Hey" I said

"So what should we do?" He asked

" I don't know" I said. we finally decided to lay down and watch the clouds. we'd look at them and tell each other what we seen it was really funny.

We got bored after two hours of staring at the sky so we decided to walk around town. we passed this gas station and he stopped. why did he stop? did I do something wrong?

"My best friends work here do you mind if we go say hi?" oh thank god I thought he didn't want to be with me anymore.

"Yeah sure." We walked up and I seen these two guys. One had brown hair and the other had dirty blonde hair. One of them had brown eyes and the other had grey eyes.

"Hey soda, hey steve." they both came over to him and gave him a bear hug. I just stood in the corner awkwardly.

"Who is this pretty girl? is this your girlfriend?" I blushed at the thought. but what Johnny said next hurt me.

"No" but it's true we aren't dating. the guy must have seen my face because he quickly changed the subject.

"So what brought you here....." I cut them off.

"I-I gotta go. by Johnny." he gave me a confused face but I ran off before I could explain. I was in tears by the time I stopped running to catch my breath.

I stopped in the lot and laid down. I cried until I couldn't cry anymore. I soon fell asleep in the lot without even realizing it.

Shays pov

It was time to meet pony so I got up and walked over to the lot. it wasn't far but it felting forever because I was so excised to see pony. I finally got there and I seen him with his face in a book. aww we both like to read. everyone teases me because I do. I walk over to him.

"Hey pony" I said, he looked up from his book.

"Hey shay" he smiled at me and took me to this blanket with a basket. he started to get the things out of the Basket and I realized we where having a picnic. I was really surprised.

"I didn't make this myself I had my brother help me. I can't cook." I laughed at his remark because it was just peanut butter and jelly with a banana and cokes.

"Either you can't cook or you where just too lazy" he smiled at me.

"A lil' bit of both." I chuckled.

We both ate and then we packed up the lunch.

"Let me walk you home. I don't want you to get jumped." aww he cares about me.

"Sure" so we both walked home. I was a lil' awkward for a lil' bit. Until I spoke up.

"What book where you reading?"

"Oh I was reading gone with the wind. it's a book for school."

"Oh cool"

"Yeah, we'll here's your house." wow I didn't even notice we where here.

"Thanks ponyboy"

"No problem shay"

"I'll call you"

"Ok"

"By"

"By" and with that he walked away. I had nothing better to do so I walked upstairs to my room and fell asleep. it was very nice.

Lexi's pov

Soda was outside and was waiting for me. I was just putting on my shoes. I checked my makeup then went out the door.

"Hey soda" I hugged him from the side since we where in a car.

"Hey" he hugged me back.

"So we going to the diner?"

"Right."

"Ok" I wondered how it was like workin' at a gas station.

"Soda what is it like working at a gas station?"

"We'll it's really fun. I get to hang out with my best friend all day and do something I love doing."

"Wow that does sound like fun!"

"Yeah"

We finally got to the diner and just talked. soda decided to rub his mashed potatoes on my face so I put some apple sauce on his face. I absolutely love Apple Sauce! soon it turned out to a full war and we got kicked out of the diner.

We walked home laughing and just talking about random stuff like socs,our gangs, and the color blue. Don't ask me why because I don't even know. soon we got to my house and soda took my hands. my heart was beating fast.

"Lexi this might seem sudden but I really like you and you would make me the happiest man alive if you will be my girlfriend." I can't believe he was saying this. I feel like I'm gonna die of happiness.

"Yes! yes! yes!" I jumped into his arms and kissed him. He kissed back and I felt bombs going off. he pulled away and kissed my cheek.

"Goodnight Lexi"

"Goodnight soda" I watched him walk away and I slowly walked inside. I walked up to my room and shut my door and slid down. I can't believe what just happened.

I'm with soda. I'm with soda. I'm with soda. I kept thinking to myself. I soon felt myself getting tired so it put on my pajamas and fell in bed. I fell asleep easily witch surmised me because it usually takes me an hour to fall asleep.

Trins pov

I walked to the diner only to be stopped by these greaser girls. There where two of them. One had brown curly hair that went right above her boobs, she had grey eyes and too much makeup. the other one had bond curly hair with blue eyes and was wearing just as much makeup as the first one.

"Um excuse me" I said a lil' rude

"No bitch you listen up. stay away from two bit or else." The brown haired girl said.

"Or else what?" I was in no mood for there shit. I'm gonna be late for my date.

"Or else you'll be gutted like a fish." they laughed then walked away. I tripped the blond one and she fell on her face. She got up and shot me death glares. Then went back to walking.

I finally got to the diner and seen twobit.

"Hey sorry I was late I ran into some trouble."

"Damn socs." He looked mad

"No they weren't socs they where greaser girls."

"Greaser girls?" he looked a little confused so I told him what happened.

He looked pale and sad.

"The brown haired girl is my ex. she was a crazy girl. but don't worry I don't love her." I was relieved. We ate and talked. we really had fun. but that time ended and we had to go home. we walked together until we had to go our separate ways to our houses. when we did he turned to me.

"I want to see you again say Friday night at the dingo?" I smiled at him and kissed his cheek. he looked surprised but smiled.

"I'd like that." He smiled at me then kissed my hand.

"Goodnight my lady"

"Two bit you big goof" I said while playfully pushing him. He got up and walked to his house and I walked to mine. It was cold out so I quickly speed walked home. thankfully I got home safe fully. I decided to curl up on a blanket and watch a movie on t.v. it was either that or read and I hate reading.
