Prompt: Write a poem about a dream you had. Try to reproduce the sensations of the dream. No word count.
Sunshine and Storms
A smooth, flat sea
Gently rocking me.
My smooth muscled body slides
And glides
Through the small ripples,
And is cradled by the sea.The clouds move in,
The deepest blur becoming the darkest black.
The softest silk becoming the sharpest blades.
The swell picks up,
Throws me against the cutting jagged rocks,
Battering me.
Battering out my will to live.I fight the waves crashing over me.
I fight the currents pulling.
But I'm tired.
I've had enough.
I'm
Falling
Falling
Falling
This dream called life,
Goodnight.
