Unrequited love
you lingered in front of me
my heart on display.
like the brightest diamond
that had been locked away.
you put on a mask
this facáde
and I fell
the glass case surrounding my love
shattered everywhere
and you were able to detach my heart.
you were able to steal it.
no, it may not mean a lot to others
but it means a lot to me.
