My alarm blared causing me to wake up. I groaned and rolled over onto my side, Jessica is still sleeping. She looks so at peace, she's beautiful, truly breathtaking. I ran my hands through her hair. It's a school day, so I head downstairs to make breakfast for both of us.
As I was cooking I suddenly I felt arms wrap around my waist. "Why didn't you wake me up?" She whined.
"You looked so cute and at peace. I didn't want to disturb you."
I turned around and lifted her chin up, kissing her lightly on the lips. Jessica smiled, I love her gummy smile so much. I love her so much.
"Yah, why'd you stop?" Jess whined at me trying to act cute.
"You're going to make me burn the pancakes."
The pancakes were finally done, Jess struggled to reach the plates. "Okay, move it shorty." I laughed as I grabbed the plates.
"Don't make fun of my height."
"Your height is cute though."
"You know, I've never seen this side of you. You're usually cold and careless."
I rolled my eyes.
We finished eating breakfast. Jess' phone vibrated on the table and she picked it up. I sat there quietly as she talked to whoever was calling until she hung up.
"Classes are cancelled today"
"Why?"
"Apparently something happened at the school."
I wasn't complaining, I mean I get to spend the whole day with the prettiest girl in the whole school. Everything about her was perfect. Her smile, her eyes, her hair, even her nose.
"Hey, earth to Marcus. What do you want to do today? Since there's no class."
I shrugged. "I don't know. Let's just spend the whole day together."
She hugged me and raised her arms into the air. "Hold me."
I picked her up and she wrapped her legs around me. Her eyes were fixated on mine, they were half lidded, she wrapped her arms around my neck. My arms where wrapped under her, to prevent her from falling. "Marcus?" she said suddenly, making me look at her.
"Hm?" I muttered.
"I love you." Jess said while blushing.
"I love you too."
Everything that's happening feels so unreal. With her chest pressed against mine, I could feel her heart beating. I kissed her passionately. She kissed back deepening the kiss. I broke the kiss and looked deeply into her eyes.
At that very moment the door slammed open. I didn't hear the door unlock. "Dad?!" I yelled, carefully dropping Jessica.
"Oh sorry son. I need to talk to you and Ms.Jessica."
My eyebrows raised in confusion. He knows her?
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Floyd." Jessica said as she bowed towards him. "Why didn't you tell me your father works alongside my dad?"
"Cause I didn't know."
"Marcus, How could you not tell her that your father is a mafia leader? Her father is another mafia leader. I work with him." Dad said calmly.
"Why are you here? And did you have to bring your goons?" I said, unamused.
"Stop asking so many questions. We need to talk. I need you and Jessica to sign a contract. Starting today you two are a couple and will be married. If you decline, I will be hunted down by the God Father of all God Fathers."
