A child that received no praise from their parents is cold they doesn't feel disappointment nor achievement.
A child that receives much praise is spoiled for this they feel only guilt and disappointment so there's still no achievement.
A child the received praise and disappointment has learned lessons in life and is prepared to be a young adult. Their not bitter or cold because they have received what they need for life they can exceed or they can fall behind is up to them at that point there is no deck that is stacked against them because they can make the impossible possible
