So me and my moms we're redecorating my kitchen and we couldn't find two of our puppies. So we looked under the couch for one because she loved to go under there and we hate it. We found her she was the older puppy but not the other one. We got her out and sat the couch back down and it was all lopsided so then we lifted up the couch and we found the puppy. She was stuck in the bars and she wasn't moving and we did not know what to do.
I ran to the kitchen and sat with my hands over my ears because I didn't want to know what was going on. I can't stand to see things like that because if she lived or died I did not want to know. Well after like two minutes I got up and went over to the living room and she wasn't breathing and she wasn't moving and her ribs felt odd.
So me and my mom gave her C-P-R and she started to slowly breath again but she wasn't whining so we could not know if she was okay or not. After a while me and my mom looked on my phone for animal hospitals that were open, because this happened at like ten or eleven at night.
We found one and we called it and they gave us numbers for other places. We called the first number that they gave us and they left. I stayed home because my childhood cat had to be put down in an animal hospital and if Teddi had died I would be devastated and by the way her name is Teddi. So anyway they were gone for a while and they called us and they said that she wasn't cautious. Well after a couple of hours she called and said that she had to stay overnight and ended up staying for two days.
So we have her and she can't be out of her cage for six weeks and she can't move her back legs still. The vet told us that since she is a puppy that she might be able to walk again it's a 60-40 chance that she could walk again. She gets let out sometimes to play for like a half hour and she try to walk on her legs and she almost has it down path.
She is the bravest puppy I know to live and survive from something horrible and tragic. She could have died and left us but she didn't and she wasn't even eight weeks yet but, I'm not bragging in just really happy that she lived and we get to keep her with us.
