Shawn:

I was so, totally not expecting that.

After she closed the door on her dad, like closing an old chapter in her life, she let out a shaky breath as she turned around. "Hey. Come here." I said softly and pulled her into a tight hug.

"You okay?" I whispered, rubbing her back as she pulled me closer to her. "Yeah. Never been better actually." She said, smiling up at me and kissing my cheek.

I'm so proud of her. All the things she did and the things she's accomplishing. Things she never did or even thought about doing. She was never this strong, as strong as she is now, and she handles her situations so much better than she did.

She usually ran away from her problems instead of facing them. And now she doesn't even think twice to face it.

I leaned down to her and pressed my lips against her forehead, seeing her cheeks burning red as her smile on her face grew even wider. "Common." I chuckled, pulling out of her embrace and taking her hand in mine.

I pulled her with me upstairs to our bedroom and stopped in front of the bathroom door. "What are you doing?" She asked, chuckling and I opened up the door to the bathroom. "You my dearest fiance." I said and kissed her, tenderly and passionately, yet short and sweet.

"You're going to take a bath, clear your mind of anything and everything that happened the past few weeks. Except the wedding part, keep that in your mind because that's good. Just relax and after your're done, meet me downstairs in our matching onesies. Okay?" I said, raising my eyebrows and she laughed, nodding and walking into the bathroom.

I went back downstairs after running her a bath with all of her favorite bubbles and bath salts, and of course her favorite bath bomb. "Thank you." She said hugging  me from behind and I turned around to face her. "I love you Maya. You mean the world to me." I said and she stood on her tippy toes, pressing her lips to mine.

"See you in a bit." I said and walked out of the bathroom, closing the door behind me. I know she enjoys her bath time and she really takes her time with it. She takes like forever to get out of the bath once she got in, so this gives me more than enough time to finish what I have planned.

I set up the table for a nice, candlelight dinner. I started making some food, her favorite.

And by making the food I mean opening up a frozen pizza and popping it into the oven, just heating it up. I grabbed  my onesie from our room and got dressed before going back downstairs to my music room, getting my guitar and the waited for Maya to finish and come down.

Like half an hour later, and after putting the pizza back in the microwave five times to keep it warm, she eventually came downstairs.

I stood up and started strumming my guitar as she sat down on the couch next to me. I started singing her favorite song, Kiss Me by Ed Sheeran. As I sang I sat down next to her and she had the biggest smile on her face, her cheeks were glowing a crimson red and I just smiled all the way through the song.

"I love you so much Maya and I can't wait for the wedding. You're my everything baby." I said and she hugged me. I felt her sniffing and as I wanted to pull out of her embrace she held me even tighter. "Don't worry. Their happy tears." She said and chuckled afterwards.

"I've made dinner!" I said and she pulled away, having a surprised look on her face. "Shawn Mendes made me dinner? Wow. This really is a crazy night." She said and I just playfully rolled my eyes, taking her hand in mine and  leading her up to the table that I sat up.

"For my princess." I said and she smiled as I pulled out a chair for her. I kissed her throne and walked to the kitchen to get the pizza. "Don't get use to this because I still don't really know how to cook. But I'll learn." I said and placed the oven baked pizza down on the table in front of her.

"Tada!" I said and she just laughed, grabbing a piece. "I like how you called this your dinner. You didn't make this Shawn, you just pressed it in the oven." She laughed and I rolled my eyes. "It's the thought that counts and besides it's your favorite so don't ruin the moment!" I said and she smiled, eating on.

This was an amazing night. We just talked and laughed and had the best night that possibly could come out of a crazy night.

Afterwards we went straight to bed. I got in my sweatpants before climbing in bed behind Maya and holding her tightly in my arms. She soon turned around and wrapped her arms against my bare back.

"You're so warm. I wish I can just hold you forever." She said, kissing my chest up to  my neck before pecking my lips. "I love you." She whispered to me, snuggling closer to me as she drifted off to sleep.

I love this girl so  much and I don't know what I'll ever do without her.

She's my everything.
