As soon as I woke up the next morning, I texted Asher about what my mom said. He responded right away "How about I come over for dinner tonight! I'd love to meet your parents!" He's such an amazing boyfriend! I just know my parents are ganna love him! I ran downstairs and told my parents that Asher will be joining us for dinner so that they can meet him.
*Dinner time* (Your POV)
Around 7:00, Asher rang the doorbell. I opened the door, and told him that dinner was almost done. "Dinner is served!" My mom announced while placing Barbecued chicken and mashed potatoes on everyone's plates. We all sat down and it was silent untill my mom said "You must be Asher! We've heard so much about you!" "Yes, I am! How are you today, Mr. And Mrs. ____________________?" Asher asked politely. "Very good, thank you." My dad said. He's handling this better than I thought he would've untill he started asking the questions like "are you a straight A student? Do you have a job? Will you protect my daughter?" Asher calmly answered the questions, and my dad loved his answers! By the end of the night, my parents happily approved of Asher!
