Chapter 17

[ Taehyung PoV ]

I stood there in front of his door. I couldn't push myself in opening the door but I knew I had to.

"What are you doing here?" Asked a man voice.

I stood still as I was afraid of who it was. I slowly turned around to see it was his assistant.

"Sir, how are you? I came to see.............." I said.

"We all know what you are here for. We have been watching you non-stop. Come inside he is waiting for you." The assistant said.

I followed behind him as we enter into his office. I was a bit worried as I remembered the last time I was here, I was thrown out and told never to return. My mind kept on remembering the whole scenario as we made our way to the boss's room. I could hear murmurs circulating around the office but I ignored it. In front of me were the massive double doors leading to the boss's office. I stood there for a moment as I build up my courage to face him. I placed my hands on the door handle and open the door. I walked in like a king but I knew I wasn't in any position to act like that.

"Hello Taehyung. Been awhile hasn't it." Said the boss.

"Hello sir, it has been awhile. I need to ask............................" I said.

"I know what you're asking for. I have kept a very close eye on you. Why are you like this. You are an embarrassment to this company and to me." He said.

"But sir, I haven't really done anything wrong. Please I need extra assistance to save her. She is not like any other girl I've been with." I explained.

"Sir please help me I don't know what to do and I know in your capable hands anything is possible please sir please.........." I begged.

"Enough Taehyung. You don't beg for no reason. I will not tolerate you begging at me like this. Everything is in place. After keeping an eye on you since Y/N started working for the school I could see how much you fancied her. I have kept my men's on her ever since that boyfriend of hers let his friend attack her." He said.

"Wait how did you know about that. No one knew about it but myself." I asked befuddled.

"Are you an idiot Taehyung. This is why you don't run the company. Your mind is that blank that everything will run pass your eyes and you'd think its normal." He said annoyed.

"Sir, how did you know?" I asked.

"I had your phone tapped. Actually I have all of your phones tapped for safety reason. When I saw that Y/N was calling you constantly I had my men go out and check what was wrong but not to interfere unless needed." He explained.

"YOU HAD OUR PHONES TAPPED!!!!" I yelled at him.

"DO NOT RAISE YOUR VOICE WITH ME KIM TAEHYUNG." He yelled back.

At that instance I coward back to my spot as I let him continue his talking. I knew that he was never mad at me but his presence is scary and can make you feel small even though your taller.

"I tapped all of your phones for the safety of you all. You boys are the future of this company even though I might not make you boss but sooner or later this company will have you and the rest of the boys running it. So I had to take the steps to make sure my assets are secure and safe." He explained.

I stood there nodding my head at him. I was surprised that this company was coming to us. None of us had any intention of running it but if he wishes it, we will do it.

"So where is Y/N and who has her sir." I asked.

"I'm not sure who has her but I know that the person involved will not harm her at all. He use to work for us and I have trained him up well to never hurt someone especially a girl." He said as he pointed to the screen behind him.

It was someone I knew very well. My heartbeat became normal knowing that Y/N was in good hands. I could see Y/N sitting down with food in front of her and she has been taken care of very well.

"How long do we have before anything goes down." I asked.

"We have all the time we need. As long as the person that is actually running the show doesn't show up we are good. Your friend won't let anything happen to her. I already got into contact with him and explain the situation. He will keep her safe at all cost." He explained.

"Good, I will go and save her then. I can't have any harm come to her." I said making my way to the door.

"Oh will you just sit your ass down and wait for my command. Stop thinking about your cock for once and listen and watch. You go busting in there now and its all over. Whatever the person or people want is not Y/N but you and they will have that if you go in there. When that person or people know your not coming they will have no use for Y/N and your friend will have to take her away. She will return safely to you and we don't have to lose anything. So sit the fuck down and just keep an eye out on the screen for any movement. Beside your friend is keeping me updated with what's going on down his side." He explained.

I sighed out a relief at how good he was at planning all this out. There was no way I could do anything like him because I would always go in blazing and not think anything through. Then I thought who would do a good job at taking his place. The only person I could think of would be Namjoon but I didn't think he would do it because he doesn't like telling people what to do and become that master mind. My mind started to wander off as I sat down in the chair. I slowly dosed off not realising that I was to keep an eye on the screen for any unusual movements.

[ Y/N PoV ]
I sat there at my location with food in front of me. I was completely unaware of what was actually going on. I felt a good connection with the guy that was running the operation. His consideration towards me was completely different from everyone else and it was nice to have someone to talk with when no one was around.

"Miss Y/N, how are you. Is the food up to your standards." He asked.

"The food is fine. Why am I here. Can you help me understand what the hell is going on. I know all this involves Taehyung but why am I here." I asked.

"Y/N, I don't want you to worry about all this. All I want you to remember is stick by me no matter what goes on. I am here to protect you from anything that will harm you. I am actually surprised that your involved with Taehyung though." He said.

"Why are you surprised. Do you know him?" I questioned.

"Yes I know him anyone knows him. But I have a better connection with his father than any of them because his father took me in and trained me to be who I am now." He said.

"Wait what?.............." I said surprised.

"Sir your needed outside. I will stay here and watch her until you get back." One of the other men said.

He nodded at his men and got up patting me on the shoulder reassuring me at the same time.

"We will continue with this talk later Miss Y/N." He said before leaving.

I sat there in shock with his reply about Taehyung. My mind was now running all over the place. All I wanted was to be at home or at least be with the boys who care so much for me. I felt my heart ache knowing that I might not be able to see them anymore..................
