"Hey Lil!"

Started, I fell off balance and landed on the dry dirt with a THUD. Luckily, I had closed my wings before I left the safe cover of the green canopy. I don't think she saw them. I looked under me to see all of my berries squashed under my weight, with the exception of a few stragglers.

"What were you doing up there?" Hops asked politely.

"I found a way to get up."  I lied.

"Anyway, we're all set now, so we can leave."

FINALLY. Freedom! I started following Hops immediately. While we were packing up, I thought of the thing she told me the night before. I think she was just sleepy, and didn't know what she was talking about. I thought that maybe I should ask her about it, just to be on the safe side. Before I had the chance to speak, though, we were off.

It had been only 5 minutes since me and Hops left our desert campsite (Actually, it wasn't really a campsite now, was it?). We had been hiking the entire time; surprisingly the desert was mostly uphill. We stopped to take a break on a fallen log, when I remembered something. AGAIN. It was that whole "Chosen Wolf of The Prophecy" thing, and this was the perfect time to ask.

"Hey Hops?" I asked.

"What is is Lilli?"

"When you said that whole prophecy thing..... What was that about, exactly?"

"I'll tell you later, ok?"

Fine, if Hops wanted to be a tough nut to crack, so be it. I ate a few berries, then kept walking. Soon, Hops followed. She didn't talk. I guess she knew I was steamed at her for not spilling the beans.  We walked in silence for a few minutes or so.

OMFG I AM SO FRICKING SORRY!!!! I'm going to update again today as an apology!!
