Wyatt
Brock and I both stand silent as we watch the girls fight. Us both to shocked to move. Then I look at Brock and he looks at me. "Maybe we should break there fight up?" I ask.
"I guess..." he says before I jump into action, pulling Ellie away from AJ. AJ must have woken up from her dazed state because she has gained leverage on Ellie , actually getting closer to clawing her eyes out.
Brock pulls AJ by her arms into one corner and I Ellie in the other. They both push and pull, trying to get to each other. I start dragging Ellie towards the door and push it open and throw her into the now muddy alley.
I jump in the mud too as I hear Brock lock the door behind us. Ellie quickly stands up in the mud then tried going for me, all she achieves is a face plant into the mud.
"It's not worth trying, your not strong enough." I say after she has calmed down and settles for sitting in the cold mud. "She was poisoning me with that cloth!" She concludes. I shake my head.
"No. She was not." I say, my tone not open for arguments. She stays at her place in the mud but glares daggers at me. Then finally through clenched teeth, she mutters, "we better go." I stand up in agreement as we walk down into the streets.

"Wyatt!" Somebody yells in a deep, solid voice. I look around to see a tall woman with grey, long hair barreling towards Ellie and I. I pull her to a stop just before my grandmother Delia stops in front of me.
"Why didn't you come visit me?" She asks. "Sorry, Grandmother Delia, I just dropped in her quickly with my..." I look over at Ellie, "girlfriend..." I say it slowly, checking her see her reaction. Ellie puts on an amazing fake smile and shakes grandmothers hand kindly.
"Why don't you come by for some coffee or tea?" She asks, smiling kindly. I nod. "Sounds great." Grandmother Delia smiles and walks away, Ellie and I follow.
"Who is she?" She whispers. "My adoptive grandmother, she raised me until I was five, then handed me back over to my parents in Maple Wood. When ever I get here, which is rare, I come to visit her." I explain is whispers.
"She's very religious, she studies dragons and such too, she's the last o the McQuien Clan." I continue as Ellie nods. "So are we a thing?" The childish tone in her voice is back. "I don't know, all I'm worried about is wether we should tell her about the evil." I Whisper.
"Will she help?"
"No." I answer simply. "Will she kill us?"
"No."
"Well then, let's tell her!" Why is Ellie so happy!? I sigh but continue behind Grandmother Delia until she turns and walks down the street to her home. She invites us in and gets us settled at her table.
"Grandma?" Ellie says quietly. "Yes, darling?" She turns from her tea making and looks at us. "Wyatt and I need to tell you something." Grandma turns and comes to sit in front of Ellie and I.
She reaches out and grabs hold of Ellie's clenched hands. "Is it that you and Wyatt will have a baby in 9 months?" Ellie's face drops the smile instantly and she looks over at me, rage and confusion fills her face.
I shrug helplessly at her. "Oh, I get it darling, you didn't know that...the gods told me." She speaks with truth, I can tell. "We... uh... did not know that." She turns to me with a huge smile on her face.
"It was something else that we wanted to tell you." She nods it agreement then looks up towards the sky. "I see the red in your eyes, Ellie." She turns her gaze towards her. Ellie nods once.
"You a queen, a dragon queen... and you have just recently been inpregnated. I know that for a fact." She says to Ellie, her head snaps to me. "And Wyatt, you and Ellie are mates." Her words tell the truth, I can tell.
"And, you plan to join her in the evil, taking down the island. Not a smart idea." I stare long and hard and Grandma. "But, I will let you do what you want of course, but just know I will be disappointed in you. Both of you." I stand up quickly.
"Lets go, Ellie." I say walking towards the door and stomping out into the street. Ellie follows, a frown etched in her face. "A baby..." she roles the words in her mouth, testing them out.
"I'm sorry, Ellie." I apologize, actually sorry than rather just saying the words. "It's okay, I'm kinda happy actually." I stop and look behind at her. A huge smile rests on her face.
"Your kidding me." I spit the words at her, fill them with venom. "No, I'm not."
AJ
My whole body aches, it burns from the bleeding claw marks on my legs, arms, face, stomach... everywhere. I lay on Brock's bed as she cleans my scratched with cotton balls and rubbing alcohol.
"So that's who you need to kill?" He asks quietly. "Yes." I say, my voice breathy and restless. "How long has she been pregnant?" I gasp softly. "She wasn't when she became queen."I tell him. "How do you know?" I add.
"I watched her as she was fighting, she was twisting and turning, always protecting her baby." Oh... I think back, Ellie would often lash out with one hand and hold her stomach with the other.
"She..." I trail off, "will be harder to kill, she'll be more aware." Brock finishes for me. "Exactly." Then a silent tear drops down my cheek. Brock reaches out with his large hands and stops the tear just above my nose.
"It's okay." He says, pulling me into a hug, crushing my face to his chest. We stay like that for a long while. Then finally he pulls back and helps me stand up.
