Tori Jones hadn't any idea what she was in for when she had agreed to tag along with her roommate Elias and his boyfriend, Philip at some gig tonight. It barely made it tolerable when Elias had allowed her to bring her moleskin journal in case for some reason, tonight's events were horribly drab. Though as Philip mentioned for the sake of faux encouragement, cases such as those were indeed rare. Hopping into Elias' civic, Tori was forced into the backseat like a child whose only consolation had been the fact she needn't worry about blocking the side mirrors.

"Philly, isn't this one of the bands that are playing tonight?" asked Elias as Philip had taken it upon himself to turn on the radio to eliminate the awkward atmosphere in the car with Tori still quite doubtful about tonight. "You mean we're going out to see The 1975?" Tori joined in, perking up almost instantly. Amused, the two in the front seats exchanged hearty laughs, "Wow Tor." said Elias as they reached a stoplight, "I think this is the most emotion you've shown all night."
"You a fan?" asked Philip
"Yeah, I guess." Tori shrugged coyly, "The cute guy from my class lent me their CD about a week ago." Elias squirmed with the seatbelt around him and turned around to face her, "You mean Theo?" Tori nodded. "Weren't you supposed to return it last week too?"
Tori smiled as coyly as she had shrugged, "Hey, I need a reason for him to call me."
"You plan to keep it until he calls you?" laughed Philip, looking at her through the rearview mirror, "How very naughty of you."

Now, although musicians--or any performer for that matter, truly do appreciate and love their fans, there will always be one face in the crowd that manages to catch their eye. In Nottingham, a redhead had caught Ross' eye and in Brighton, a girl with an undercut had caught Adam's. In London, which was where they'd be perfrorming tonight, it was Matty's eye that had been caught. She wasn't particularly in the front row, but she had been close enough for him to occasionally glance at her; glances which she had yet to return. Noticing that she was close to a guy, he was ready to assume that she was involved. Although when the guy had been approached by another, it just confirmed her civil status; single, and he was rather happy about it. Finally, her eyes met his and he felt himself smile as he continued singing.
Wrestle to the ground
God help me now
And secretly, he did ask for some divine intervention in order for him to take his eyes away from hers.
