Finding A Home And Love Finding Me

Chapter 3

Guy's P.O.V.
As hours go by, Star and I start to get restless. We still haven't found a new home for us yet. I was starting to get angry and frustrated, but then I looked over at Star and the anger and frustration went away. Instead, it was replaced with a feeling I've never felt towards anyone before.
I think I might be in love...with Star. She's so beautiful, fun to be around, funny, and real.

This must be what true love feels like. I love everything about her, flaws and all. It's so cute when she is so determined and focused on something that she scrunches up her adorable nose. And her smile, God how I love her smile. When she smiles, it brightens up the room and makes me forget all the bad that had happened to us over the years. As I keep staring at her, Star suddenly says with a scared look "Guy, snap out of it, we got trouble!"

I snap out of her trance and look around as I say, "huh, what?" Suddenly, my body tenses up and I'm alert because another species I didn't recognize started shooting their lasers at us. We were under attack and we needed to fight back quickly. Everything was happening so fast. Our hands were rushing to every button that would help us attack back. Our ship was hit a few times and we have been knocked off our seats.

It was then realized that we had to take evasive action. Star and I were not going to give up so easily. We were not gonna go down without a fight. The two of us gave the unidentified aliens everything we had. When thirty minutes passed, we had finally won our battle against the unidentified aliens. As we celebrated our victory for surviving the attack, we watched their ship blow up.

Out of being so happy and excited, I pressed my lips against hers and kissed her. Star pushed me back with so much shock on her face and said "whoa, what the hell are you doing?" After she asked me that question, I realized that this was my chance to finally confess my love for her.
