"Sakura, are you there? It's Sai..." he said softly, as if to a little sister or something.

Still no one answered. Sasuke was about to kick the door down when Sai stopped him and took a key from his pocket. He unlocked the door and what they saw was not what they would have liked.

There was furniture turned over and the living room was a mess. They continued their way through the house. Suigetsu and Sasuke checked downstairs while Sai and Naruto checked upstairs.

"Sasuke, come here!" Sasuke heard Naruto yell.

Immediately Sasuke ran upstairs with Suigetsu right behind him. When they got there they saw what caused Naruto to yell. It was Sakura's room. It was in worse condition than the rest of the house. Her bed was a mess and her mirror was broken. It looked like there was one hell of a fight there.

"She's been kidnapped!" Sai whispered.

Sasuke never thought Sai would show any emotion and he never saw him show emotion until then. There was obvious fear on his face and in his eyes. He was even paler than he usually was. Even Naruto was surprised.

"Let's go, we have to get Tsunade," Sasuke stated.

It snapped Sai out of it and together he and Sasuke ran across the rooftops to the Hokage Tower. They ran so fast they left Suigetsu and Naruto behind. When they got there they were both out of breath and were struggling to talk.

"Sai, Sasuke, what are you doing here?" Tsunade asked.

"Sakura has gone missing! We think she was kidnapped!" Sasuke said breathlessly.

Tsunade froze. Shizune had just walked in with a bright smile and it immediately disappeared.

"What!?" They yelled.

"Sakura is missing you bakas!" Sai yelled back.

They were all surprised by his outburst. Never has he been disrespectful to anyone, especially the Hokage.

"You never appreciated her! Now she is gone and no one realized until now. Even I..." he trailed off sadly.

They looked down in sadness then back at him. Everyone all froze because he was...crying. He never showed any emotion. Sakura was like a big sister to him, reprimanding him, teaching him about life, emotions, being there for him to help and encourage him.

"You ignored her. She was so lonely and broken. She never showed you just how much though. How could you not see through it?" he asked them sadly.

"See through what Sai?" Tsunade asked.

"Her smile, it was a fake. It always was..." he said glaring at the ground as the tears flowed freely from his eyes.

It took them all by surprise. Tsunade and Shizune looked down at the ground with shadows covering their eyes.

"Shizune, send out a message to all villages. Tell them, Haruno Sakura is missing..." she said.

Shizune nodded and ran out of the office leaving us alone with Tsunade. Sai had stopped crying and was wiping his eyes now.

"How long?" Tsunade asked.

"We found out she was missing today but has been gone for a few days now," Sasuke stated not getting her question.

"Not that Sasuke. Sai, how long has she been like this?" she asked.

Sasuke looked at Sai in curiosity wondering how Sai knew if she fooled everyone else.
