Night Visions

Chapter 1

I glanced at myself in the mirror, my long black hair was curled as it passed my shoulders.
My mascara was flowing down my red cheeks as I begun to cry again.

It was the most horrible feeling to go through when you witness your boyfriend for seven months cheat on you during a date which happened to me tonight.

I began to slip off the dress I wore when I heard a knock on the bathroom door, I don't want company right now.
"Tranessa?" My sixteen-year-old sister said from outside, "are you okay?"
I sniffed as I mumbled, "yeah I'm fine Brielle."
"Can we talk about it?" Brielle slipped into the bathroom, I glanced at her and smiled.
I love my sister, you could tell her anything and she will understand.
Brielle was the spinning image of me with turquoise eyes and the long black hair that passed her shoulders but, the only thing she had of my dad was the eyes and nose.
I didn't know why but, she does have my high cheek bones and pretty face.

"Tranessa?" Brielle gasped as she saw me, "what happened?"
I wiped my eyes with a damp rag as Brielle walked over to me and placed a hand on my back.
I gave out a shaky breath and placed the rag beside the sink.
"It was horrible," I said as Brielle stood next to me, looking at herself  in the mirror, "I caught Dylan flirting with another girl and I was watching him."
"Well, why didn't you stop him?" Brielle asked, "did he leave before you could do anything?"
I nodded my head, "I didn't want to start drama with that girl."

Brielle sighed as I slipped into my pajamas, we walked out of the bathroom, which we both shared. I jumped into my bed face first. The bed was so comfortable, that was what I really needed right now.
"Tranessa, can we listen to the radio tonight?" Brielle asked as she pulled her blanket up to her chin, I sat up on my knees as Brielle lifted up her head.
"Sure," I said, "what do you want to listen too?"
I glanced at the radio that sat on the desk next to my bed.
"I don't know," Brielle sat up in her bed, "what about that new C.D. you bought a few days ago?"
I thought for a second, about three days ago I went to a C.D. store and bought the new One Republic album, and sense Brielle likes One Republic I just wanted to surprise her.

I took the new album out of my C.D. case and slipped the disk into the radio and then, I pressed the play button.
Brielle layed back down in her bed as I turned down the knob on my radio.
A few seconds later Brielle was fast asleep, I layed down on my pillow and turned over to the left side.
As I was about to close my eyes, I saw a figure stand a few inches away from me, I slowly lifted my head as the figure suddenly disappears.
I blinked a couple of times, I was just imagining things or, was I not?
I shook my head and layed down on the pillow, I tucked a hand underneath and went to sleep.
