BEEP BEEP BEEP BE- Cartman suddenly slammed down on his alarm clock, he then rolled over with a growl."time to get up poopsie-kins. Cartman got up with a grunt, that's strange his mom thought, he didn't protest this morning. It's been seven years Cartman was now fifteen and never had he ever gotten up without a fuss. Cartman was still chubby but not the "fatass" he was at age eight. Cartman decided to walk to school today instead of taking the bus or driving he needed to clear his head and he knew a shortcut anyway. About five minutes into his walk he felt a tap on his shoulder, as he turned around he was met with a bright green hat. " hey fatass" the boy said calmly. Cartman just turned his head around and continued to walk down the path. Kyle stared blankly at the back of Cartman's head as he continued to walk. That's odd. Kyle speed walked up to Cartman and tapped his shoulder. " I said hey fatass" Cartman just looked at Kyle with a blank expression. What's up with him today. School was bland without Cartman's constant bickering, everyone was surprised even the teachers. " woah what's up with the fatass?" Stan asked " yeah" Kenny mumbled. I really don't know Kyle answered.
The walk home was quiet, to quiet. Kyle and Cartman walked side by side all the way down the path. They finally reached where the path split. As Cartman was about to go down his side of the path Kyle caught him by the sweater. " THE FUCK IS UP WITH YOU TODAY!" Cartman just stared wide eyed, he pulled his sleeve out of Kyle's grasp and continued is walk down the path. What the fuck...
The next day went on the same, and the day after that, and the day after that, and soon it had been a week of this silent treatment. Eventually Kyle had, had enough of it, he slowly walked up and knocked on the door. Liane opened the door. " oh hello Kyle, Eric isn't here right now but please come in." Kyle walked in and took a seat on the living room couch. " Kyle I've been meaning to talk to you since you are good friends with Eric, he's been acting so weird for a while now and I need you to figure out what's wrong" Kyle just stared at liane as she talked. So he's been acting weird at home as well... " Kyle I'm trusting you with the responsibility of fixing my son, I trust you" Kyle nodded his head at liane " I'll find out what's wrong I promise." Liane smiled " well I have one idea to make this job easier." Kyle just stared at her. " you are allowed to search his room when he's not here.." as soon as liane said this Kyle was off, he darted up the stairs and flung Cartman's door open.
Just as he thought, it was a mess. Kyle made a quick effort to rummage through piles of clothes, open drawers, and open books. Nothing. Kyle stopped his rushing, he sat on the bed with a tired sigh. Just as he sat down he felt something under the covers. What the- IT WAS A NOTEBOOK! Kyle eagerly open the book and flipped through pages. Dated diary pages going from the third grade all the way up until now, almost every page had Kyle's name mentioned. Kyle flipped to the most recent page, this was written this morning...
DEAR DIARY
TODAY I WILL MAKE AN EFFORT TO TELL KYLE, ITS BEEN YEARS AND IVE ALWAYS PRETENDED I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY, IVE BEEN AVOIDING HIM, I FEEL BAD. I JUST CANT FIND THE RIGHT WORDS TO SAY, ILL TRY HARDER THIS TIME...Kyle just stared at the page for who knows how long. After a while he looked at his watch. Shit eight o'clock. Kyle carefully put he notebook back where he found it, he walked downstairs and said goodbye to liane.
What will I do?
