Tenkai Short Stories

Alone no longer

Here is a short one-shot with Beni, her father, and Gen. ~Yami Ceylan

"Dad? Dad!" A young Beni cried. "Where are you!?" She cried and no one cared to stop what their doing to help her. Everyone walked pasted her as they continued their way through the mall. This wasn't the first time for the young pink haired girl. An hour later Beni sat next to a fountain hugging her knees close to her.

"Beni there you are. We need to go home now." Her father said calmly. He outstretched his hand for her not noting her crying. She nodded and took his hand. She was silent but felt her trust for her father break even more.

Home she barely sees him. Her mother was never around and her father was always researching about a cube planet. He tells her not to bother him while he is studying but that never stops her. Sometimes in the room she sees silver and pink small bricks. One time she thought she saw a robot. One night her curiosity got the best of her and she snuck in when she hears faint words calling out for her

"Tenkai" the faint voice called out to her. It had a hint of sympathy to the voice like it knows what Beni deals with and wants to help. The closer she came to the pink brick that sat on the desk the louder it got. She picked up the brick and the voice stopped. Confused, she looked at the brick all around and started messing with it. Making a little robot.

"It's a toy?" She asked herself. Looking around she finds a seacret room with a giant machine and a box with her name on it. It looks really fancy. She was gonna touch the box but then a beam shoots down and she notices a giant lazer shooting her from the giant machine and pixelizing her. She screamed but no one showed up to stop her by the time she disappeared.

She wakes up to find out everything is like bricks and giant robot cats are growling at her.

"Ahhh! Nice scary kitties." She said terrified. She backed away but stopped when her back was against a cliff wall. She was terrified. Thinking this was gonna be the end for her all of a sudden a human like figure apears all in black with red eyes slays all the Balthaz and Graydens that were gonna attack her. She watches them pixilate and dissappear into nothing.

The black robot walked up to her. "You don't look like the Corekai or Corrupted. Who are you?"

"B-beni, who are you?" She stuttered.

"Gen, you must be from earth too right? It seems like everyone out here knows how to fight to some degree."

She glared at him "I was scared okay!" but then something struck her. "Wait we are no longer on Earth!? Where are we and what am I?"

After Gen explained to her what planet they were on, what species they are now, and the gardian that chosed him which she claims was the same gardian, they got closer. Beni became less scared and confused around Gen and had fun hanging out with him. They realized they both had bad parents and wanted the power to change their past. They even teamed up after Gen taught her how to summon her weapon and how to fight. On that planet they chose to go by new names, Venetta and Dromus.

When she got home she was scolded by her father and she ran away.
