Sorry if republishing these is kinda annoying. In rewriting them to sound better.

__________

It had been a month since Misty had found out the truth from Cordelia. No one else in the academy really knew yet, but a few of the girls were starting to put the pieces together. But they still didn't really know, not even the few clairvoyant ones.

Cordelia had found a spell to block her thoughts from them and even cast it over Misty, without telling her. But, since she didn't want anyone to know yet, at least, not until she was ready to tell them, she had to do this. However, she had come to the realization that it would have to be soon, there would be no other way to hide her growing belly from the girls.

Over the month, Cordelia and Misty had discussed so much more about the baby, and what they thought would be best for it. Misty had even offered to help with the nursery. Although, they didn't know where that would be yet. Given, all of the rooms were taken up by at least two girls, four at the most. Even with the two houses, Cordelia had purchased, she knew she would need another soon after coming out to the public about them.

And, over the month, the two had grown incredibly close, not only over the secret that they shared, but they could feel the blossoming feeling between them. Neither of the women wanted to say a thing, not wanting to ruin whatever they had grown between them. But they both understood the unsaid feelings, which they both cherished greatly.

__________

Cordelia was headed to her doctor for the gender reveal. Misty wanted to go with her but wasn't sure how to ask. She wondered if it was too much to ask so soon, but she wanted to be there for her friend. Yet, she didn't want to overstep any boundaries.

It was still early enough that most of the girls were asleep, and if not, they were still upstairs. They only witch that Cordelia cared to see this early was misty, who was usually in the greenhouse at this time. She attended to the morning plants, watering them or whatever else was needed.

Cordelia found her there, seeing Misty gracefully roaming around the room with a watering can in her hand, whilst she hummed along with a tune of Stevie Nicks.

"Morning," the Supreme said softly.

Misty looked up from the lilacs she had been studying. A smile graced her features. "Good mornin'."

"I-I, uh—I'm headed to the OBGYN... go find out the gender." She explained, her hands gently resting over her small, slightly now visible baby bump through her loose, floral dress.

"Okay, well, see ya later. Good luck." The Cajun said, the same loving smile on her lips as she spoke.

"I, uh..." Cordelia paused, questioning if her actions were the right ones. "I wanted to know if you would come with me."

The smile on Misty's face only grew larger. "Yes!" she said excitedly.

"Really?"

"Yeah! Lemme wash my hands, 'nd I'll be ready." She said before placing the watering can down on the table, and then walked over to the sink to scrub the dirt off her hands, and from under her fingernails. After, she dried her hands and turned to the older witch. "Alright!"

The two blondes exited the greenhouse and headed straight to the driveway. There, Cordelia got into the driver's seat, while Misty got into the passenger side. It didn't take long before they arrived at their destination. There, they entered the office building.

Misty stood behind the shorter woman while she checked in and followed her over to a row of seats. She could tell that Cordelia was extremely anxious about the appointment. Her knees were bouncing at a rapid pace, her fingers messed with the ring on her right ring finger, the one that Fiona gave her, and her teeth gnawed on her lower lip.
